We stayed for 2 nights on 18 Sep 2020, greeted by a very friendly and hard working receptionist who couldn't do enough for us. The Italian restaurant was very good. Very high quality breakfast, all cooked well. Room number 8 was very spacious, clean and stylish. Looking forward to return to the hotel.

Stayed for 1 night on a Cotswold break. Really nice hotel, attentive staff. Booked the restaurant which was ok. Quite expensive and sitting in the top room (in the area where you enter the restaurant) it was all cluttered with cutlery, condiments etc all on show. Just looked a bit of a mess and not what you expect to have to sit amongst in a restaurant. Food was good but no mint sauce for the lamb shank special? Not exactly a world shattering problem but it was a bit tasteless and needed some mint for sure. Parking was stressful, managed to get a space but the following morning came out to find we'd been blocked in by no less than 3 cars!! We weren't aware that they were staff cars, but were spoken to like we should have done. Sorted easy enough though.

Excellent location, pleasant well appointed interiors to the hotel, clean and comfortable room and good quality breakfast. Only minor gripe was parking, we were aware the hotel only had 18 spaces for 22 rooms, on our second night we couldn’t park and discovered staff used the spaces too!!

The hotel is very comfortable and the receptionist Simone was very welcoming and extremely helpful,, the weekend we went was very busy in the town and getting a restaurant table was nearly impossible. Simone recommended a pub outside the town and arranged a taxi for the four of us, the pub was very nice.. The rooms are very well decorated and clean, bar staff also very friendly and efficient. Covid friendly with a number of systems in place with a one way system and lots of sanitiser. The reason the hotel did not get 5 out of 5 is due to breakfast which was inconsistent in delivery. First day had to ask for everything spoons, sugar, drinks, hot and cold, toast, knife and forks, they also forgot my breakfast so we did not eat together, second day was a little better with cutlery and other items were on the table. However the breakfast staff were also very friendly and also apologetic when this was pointed out. Overall stay very pleasant and would recommend the hotel. The manager was also very friendly and listened to our views.
