We recently visited the swan for food. After reading all the reviews online I had high expectations. The hotel and surroundings are beautiful but I felt let down by the food and the service. My partner had been really looking forward to the quintessential english afternoon tea but was bitterly disappointed. It was served to us with no explanation as...

This famous hotel is well organised like many reviews and it's reputation. Especially I really impressed when I went to bathroom during the night because its light was green to prevent the dazzling eyes. The price may slightly overpriced during the weekend but worthwhile to stay a night though.

It was a half way meeting point for the family to celebrate my Mothers Birthday and we were not disappointed! Sunday lunch was delicious, plentiful and served by some excellent staff. It always has been a warm and welcoming place and it's popularity has not dwindled. Only one niggling comment to make was about the Receptionist on the front desk,...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights, as part of our trip to the Cotswolds to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Beautiful room and amazing food. We had our elderly dog with us, who was very pampered! Even down to a dog basket and dog treats, what made it even better was that the hotel has a...

Dropped in to Bibury as it had been recommended as somewhere attractive for a walk. We weren't disappointed. Decided to have lunch at The Swan (after checking that our dog would be allowed in), and were extremely pleased by the welcome from Bruno and the staff. It really was hotel quality service (as opposed to good pub service). The menu...

Room was a the Swan's basic 'good' room (no 15 awful/no view) which was ok but given the £220 price tag for one night plus breakfast and four star rating I'd expect everything to be pretty spot on. So I might sound picky but if I'm parting with £200 plus for one night, then I think I'm within my rights...

Beautiful hotel in a very quiet and picturesque location. We visited midweek in November, were upgraded to a fabulous room at the front and found it quiet and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a lovely room and the food good, imaginative and with a range of vegetarian options. The one problem, and for me...

I enjoyed a two night stay at The Swan for a wedding recently and loved every minute. The hotel enjoys a picture postcard setting next to the bridge and the river. It is very quaint and charming in the village. The entrance and reception are are all very warm and welcoming with log fires crackling away in most downstairs rooms....
