We ate from the bar menu which appeared to have more choice than their Brasserie menu. The portions were very generous and nicely presented. Beautiful old building in a picturesque setting, we have decided we will go back to stay at the hotel some time as everything looked so nice.

What a beautiful place in a very quaint and typical Cotswold village. The Food was simply scrummy! We had to eat in the 'pub' because the brasserie had already shut but wow what a meal. The decor and ambience of this lovely place is stunning. Would definitely go back for a larger meal in the main Restaurant. Staff were friendly... More

The food was just okay. My complaint has nothing to do with the food. A crowd of us went for a Sunday dinner. I had to have a three course meal if I wanted to eat in the restaurant with my friends. Bar food has to be eaten at the bar. I did not want a three course meal. When... More

From lashing rain and rushing river, refuge in the lovely Swan with its assortment of fascinating corners to eat in. The Brasserie was full of a saffron robed group of religious devotees, courteous and cheerful, the staff efficient and the food beautifully presented and flavourful. I had expected the prices to reflect 'the posh' - and was pleasantly surprised. Good... More

We had been to the restaurant for lunch during our Cotswold's day tour. The food is very good and ambiance is excellent. Desert wasn't great though. It is just opposite the Bibury Trout farm. The location is just stunning, picture postcard.

My wife and I stayed in Bibury in 1986. It was nice to come back without children. The accommodations were top notch and we enjoyed several good meals. We loved the country walks that started right out the front door. The area is very popular with tourists, but they are mostly daytrippers.

Bibury is the village that has been photographed a million times on chocolate boxes all over the world. It is the subject photo of tons of jigsaw puzzles but its' local iconic restaurant doesn't live up to the hype. We were a family group of 6 (3 generations) who dropped in for a wonderful experience of wandering around and taking... More

Lunch destination while on a tour. Catered well for 50 hungry mouths. We had 3 options inc cod which was cooked beautifully. A berry crumble and ice cream topped it off. The service was very good. The setting nice. The accommodation looks to be very nice too. Love the 'Writing Room'.

We drove down to Bibury for our fix of Cotswolds charm. It didn't disappoint. We went to the Swan for dinner, starting off in the bar area for some drinks, the most amazing Rhubarb Gin & Tonic, and then we ordered and asked if we could go to the restaurant, they said stay where you are next to the fire...
