We stayed here for one night before catching the 9 am ferry to Dieppe. The hotel was clean, the views were lovely of the sea from a panoramic window. The bed was comfy. The ensuite was a strange shape with a window into the bedroom. The tv was a good size, but the wifi was really below par, as it... More

Having spent the morning on the McMillan Garden Trail this venue was recommended for lunch and we were not disappointed. Relaxing and pleasant atmosphere in the conservatory/dining area, food of a good standard and delivered to the table in good time, house wine very drinkable! Would readily revisit when in the area.

Clean and tidy room with good facilities including TV and free WiFi. Only 5 mins walk to the seafront and 5 mins walk to the station, good location. Breakfast was freshly cooked and the hosts were friendly and helpful.

We had an evening meal here on a bank holiday Monday (we were to catch the Newhaven Ferry the next day), so it was quite crowded. Quick service despite being busy; however, the food was not all that great. My wife had fish and chips that were ok, but I had a steak that was quite stringy and by no... More

Whether your looking to watch the football or even grab a bite to eat. The White Lion has it all. Fantastic food and service served all day with a nice conservatory dining room if you want to sit away from the bar. Pool table and dart board situated in the second bar. Ideal for a few beers and a catch... More

We had been told that The White Lion was good for watching a football match. So when the local team of Brighton and Hove Albion were playing we thought we would give it a go. So glad we did. As we arrived we thought a 'local' was polite in opening the door for our daughter to push her baby and... More

We arrived having spent the day walking from Winchelsea to Normans bay so were very grateful for the warm comfortable room and very generous steak. We had the family suite which was lovely. The fixtures were basic but clean and sound. It was exactly what we needed.

Decided to stay here just slightly out of Seaford Town Centre on a whim about 10 days ago. Rooms were perfectly adequate and well worth the price we paid for them. Ate a meal in the restaurant which was well prepared and had no complaints at all. The bar staff and other customers were all very welcoming. Breakfast was good... More

Very grateful that we were accomodated late on a December night when our ferry was cancelled until morning. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were accomodated with virtually no notice in 2 single rooms which were very clean, warm and comfortable with good showers. Furthermore, the owner came in early to do breakfast for those of us who... More

I only visited this place to meet up with family and to watch a live football match on Sky Sports. I have family in Seaford who recommended the place. It is a big place with accommodation above and what looks like a big restaurant. It was busy on a Tuesday evening when I visited but we went in to the... More
