We had a booked a stay at this hotel as a romantic weekend getaway and had heard many good things about Rye, so were really looking forward to this. At the time of booking this hotel was one of the last places left with availability and the photos looked nice on the website, so thought this was a good bet.... More

Thanks for your feedback and I have to say that you have been extremely fair in your review. On inspection, there has been a build up of damp and mould in the rooms downstairs and this is not good enough. We will do all that we can to eradicate this. In our defence, I think there is a lot of... More

This hotel is very cute and very historical. They updated all the bathrooms and the rooms are very cozy. No a/c but it is usually cool here. You can walk to everything. Breakfast was also extremely good. The staff was very welcoming and nice. I would go back in a minute. Our only regret is that we didn't book two... More

This was amazing such place to stay right in the thick of it. Really lovely room No 6 the staff were brilliant nothing too much trouble. Wonderful breakfast exactly what we wanted. Lovely to go on the veranda and sip a glass of wine while watching the world go by. Highly recommended.

This has to be the most fantastic place to stay in Rye. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was gorgeous and breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. I would completely recommend staying here if considering a trip to Rye.

Rye, as a town, is a lovely, quite place and just 2hrs drive from London. You do need a car to get there and explore nearby towns, IE: Dover. The pubs and restaurants have the freshers products, whether you enjoy lamb or seafood, the quality is excellent, the flavours exquisite. Make sure to check which ones require booking, don't risk... We decided last minute to stop overnight in Rye, we had our dog also. I had a quick check online and saw this hotel. Popped in to ask if they had rooms and could they do it the price online and were more than accommodating. Room (N0 7) was small but comfortable and I liked the fact we were given... More

Lovely stay here. I would recommend it to anyone. The owners went out of their way to help us and it didn't seem to out them out. They also recommended some good places to visit. The position of the hotel is perfict. All the rooms are decorated with an individual style and they can be seen on the website. Breakfast... More

We went with a friend to the Old Borough Arms for a quick breakfast, as we had a bit of catch up to do. We were welcome with a friendly smile, and a very good cup of coffee. The breakfast menu had a great selection, but we both decided to order the Eggs "florentine style". This was one of the... More
