We stayed for 1 night in the Martello room. Tracey and Simon were very welcoming, offering to make us a tea or coffee after showing us the room. We sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed some home made shortbread before going for a wander round Rye Harbour. There are plenty of lovely walks with a vast RSPB reserve on... More

If you are looking for a B & B that offers quality without being excessively OTT on price then look no further. BUT, be warned this B & B only has 3 rooms and is located in one of the most popular parts of Rye located as it is adjacent to the nature reserve

We stay 2 or 3 times each year for a short break. Simon and Tracey always make us very welcome. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are excellent. There is a beautiful garden in which Tracey serves tea. If one wants a peaceful and relaxing place from which it is possible to walk several miles by the sea and... More

An excellent 2 night stay at this B & B. Starting outside - good views and easy access to the adjacent nature reserve. The house had a very attractive ‘beach’ style garden with a sun room and a decking area, both with table and chairs. We stayed in the Harbour Suite, which consisted of a large bedroom, dressing room area... More

I'm not a big reviewer - this being only the third review I've written but felt compelled to do so on this occasion. I stayed one night as part of a wedding party and found myself in the Harbour suite. An absolutely delightful, spacious room, with Harbour views, a separate dressing room and an enormous bathroom with bath tub and... More

A warm welcome from Simon and Tracy set us up for a perfect stay. The house is almost on the harbour and they have carried the marine theme into the property. A beautiful designed shell and plant garden complete with summerhouse and outside seating for guests takes you into this slightly rambling but charming old vicarage. Inside the decor is... More

\This is a beautiful house, the childhood home of author Monica Edwards and features heavily in her 'Romney Marsh' series of books. The suite is double aspect, delightfully furnished with a huge bathroom and a useful dressing room. The breakfasts are superb home cooked with a great choice and the best selection of cereals etc that we have ever seen.... More

The old vicarage is sited a few steps away from the harbour and the nature reserve, Which offers rather flat and bleak, but invigorating walks with plenty of birdlife. It was our anniversary weekend and a very nice touch was a couple of cupcakes in a bag, left in our room, saying happy anniversary. Our room, the Martello room, was... More
