Luxury, romantic hotel. Very short walking distance to old town. Our room was not big but clean. However, their breakfast not worth 25 pound at all. It was not busy but waitress keep us waited few minutes to clean tables. Eventually she gave us a table by the entrance door and next to wall instead of better conditioned table with...

The Grand room lived up to the pictures, great view from the bay window. Nice little touches like bottled water in the room and the in room beverages came complete with tea set including a teapot. Dining in 'Salts' restaurant was a treat. The menu gave you an outline of what was to come but the plate of food delivered...

The detailed map on the reverse side of the booking confirmation enabled us to find the car park easily. Thank you hotel !! On arrival (Saturday 19th November) we could not have been made more welcome by the delightful receptionist. Our room, the "Grand- Deluxe" was number 7, situated at the front of the hotel - a large well appointed,...

My wife and I had a delightful 2 night stay here recently. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant on the second evening and the food was excellent. One small gripe and it is only one. The shower was too small. I am not a large person but the lack of space was...

Thank you for taking the time to post a review following your stay at Rye Lodge Hotel. I have passed your comments on to housekeeping, breakfast chef and our head chef - it is reward in itself to receive positive feedback. Only 4 of our rooms have shower only, the remaining rooms having shower and bath. We hope we have...

We took my Mum here for a short mid-week break. Rye is a great town with lots of lovely shops and cafes. The hotel was very cosy and friendly and in a good location. The decor is charming. Our only gripe is that the bedrooms were too hot at night-time, which meant we slept less well than we should have...

A fantastic place to relax with excellent courteous old fashioned service. The rooms were just as shown on the website and were warm and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxed, outdoor terraces to sit and a spa to relax in, what more could you want.

It was the hotel that attracted my mother-in-law to want to celebrate her 80th birthday in Rye. Despite mixed reviews we were not disappointed. We went round Rye twice before we found the entrance to the hotel car-park- so be warned!! We had 4 deluxe rooms between us which I thought were all of a very good size! Three had...

We paid a good sum to stay in a deluxe room. Faux leather chairs and fake gold leaf reigned in an attempt to replicate some kind of Napoleonic style. The balcony was littered with butts from guests before, good size bathroom apart from the ceiling which was in need of repair. To be fair the lady on reception was apologetic...
