Just back home after a 3 night stay at this perfect B&B. If you are a 'four in a bed' critic ( the coat hangers do not match and sauce comes in sachets ) it may not be for you, if however you want a great location, clean bed and room, wonderful parking facilities, hearty breakfast and superb hosts, this... The following review was actually written by my sister Rose. As a ‘Trip Advisor’ reviewer, I offered to post it on her behalf. "This may seem like an unusual review in that I haven't actually stayed at Glencoe Farm in Rye, but my mother and father are staying there as I type. The reason for my review is more to... More

Had an excellent stay there with six friends. We were all pleased we managed to book rooms at the same B&B! A lovely mixture of old and new furniture in the bedrooms. Excellent breakfast - kept us going until early afternoon. Lovely gardens. Easy and quick access to the town. Couldn't have asked for a better service. Bert and Carol... More

Just spent two evenings in the Small House at Glencoe Farm in Rye. The location was great - quick and easy walks to Rye and to some country walks (we did not have a car). Service was great, the countryside was beautiful and the pond and animals great for our young son. We would stay again and recommend it to... More

lovely hosts, excellent breakfast, nice garden, cute cat / dogs / horses. Room is a little bit old-fashioned (see picture) but very clean. WiFi not available in every room. Short distance walk from town centre.

We booked a double room. The owners are very helpful. The location and vicinity to town is great - we walked out in the evening for our evening meal in town. Breakfast at Glencoe Farm was superb. We would recommend it.

We booked a double room over the August bank holiday weekend and stayed for two nights. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner, a lady called Carol. Our room was a good size and had all normal bits you would expect. My partner and I just could not get over how peaceful it was compared to home. We... More

Nice bed and breakfast. We booked in and the owner was very pleasant. From our window we had a good view of a duck pond with a few ducks on it. Had a very good night sleep followed by one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had. Recommend it.

Stayed for one night on 8 June. Carol and Bert are wonderful hosts and didn't take long to make us feel as though they were long time friends. Extremely restful setting looking out onto the duck pond and the surrounding field. Wonderful breakfast. Good to be able to leave the car and take a short walk into Rye. Would highly... More
