Tremendous location in a lovely chalet by a Duck pond, big flat screen tv (hardly watched). Lovely full English breakfast with copious amounts of tea and toast. Both Carol and Bert are polite and helpful without being over intrusive. definitely worth a return visit for longer than a weekend

Wonderfully comfortable beds in your own wing away from the family and conveniently placed to walk into Rye leaving the car parked at base. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Did have a problem with the lights in the bathroom though, which gave up the ghost on the first night and weren't able to be revived. A small, but important niggle.

we only had 2 days at Glencoe and it is as everyone has already said - the hosts are so nice and welcoming. The breakfast is certainly delicious and hearty. Our room overlooked the pond as did the breakfast room - the view is so relaxing especially when the ducks etc are out and about. The bed was very comfortable.... More

We stayed here in November 2015 while visiting friends in Rye. The farm is a lovely little find. Carol was a fantastic host and could not have been more helpful. The room was comfortable and the breakfast very filling. looking to come back again next year.

I've read a couple of the 'poor' reviews for this place, but I think it has been refurbished since those were written. We had a twin room, with a view from our window of the lawn and duck pond. The shower room was lovely, newly and stylishly done up, with plenty of hot water in the shower. The room was... More

Carol and Bert the owners could not have been nicer. We arrived very early but still received a warm welcome. Breakfast was first class, prepared just as we like it. Very comfortable room with super en-suite, good shower.

Bert answered the door and you immediately got the impression of a very nice person indeed. Beautiful room, huge comfortable bed, everything spotlessly clean and then a first-class breakfast each morning - what more could you want. Prices were about average for the area so no problem with that. Would undoubtedly recommend Glencoe Farm to anyone visiting the area. Brilliant

Just home from a couple of days at Glence Farm. We got a lovely warm welcome from Bert. Our room had been newly and absolutely beautifully decorated, crisp white sheets and towels and an enormous comfortable bed, the en suite has large shower, with a selection of toiletries and a hairdryer on the wall. Our room looked out over the... More

Just got back from the Easter weekend in Rye; stayed 3 nights here. I have to agree with the other posts ; the location is fabulous - only a 5 minute walk into town with plenty of parking, and the 1066 walk in fact goes right past the door! Walking up to the sounds of birds tweeting and the cockerels... More

My boyfriend and I stayed there for two nights, the place is nice and clean, we didn't meet Carol but Bert was very friendly and helpful. Awesome full english breakfast, but you will need to wake up at 8:30, he was knocking our door for it! We had a really good time there. If you go by walk you may... More
