We'd just support all the positive previous review s- A great place to stay in Hastings. Welcoming, very comfortable, tastefully decorated, excellent breakfast in a conservatory overlooking the old town and all in all a great choice!

We decided to spend the day at the seaside hoping for a bracing promenade walk. Unfortunately it rained the whole time but The Laindons more than made up for this. The building has been very tastefully restored. At the ground floor level there is a coffee shop where the owners grind thier own coffee. We were in room 1, which...

A friend and I were in Hastings for the day and decided to stay, we just came across this b&b and knocked on the door. We were greeted by a very nice woman who invited us in to view the room. It was lovely. She couldn't have been more accommodating. There is a lovely sitting room, tastefully decorated which we...

We spent two nights at the Laindons, a beautifully restored and maintained period property. The room was smashing and well appointed. There is a sweet lounge in the eaves complete with drinks and snacks offered on an honesty box basis. Sara is absolutely lovely, super friendly and helpful and makes a mean breakfast too. The decor is a modern take...

Just back from a weekend at Laindons, we had such a lovely stay , in gorgeous surroundings and warm welcome and hospitality from Sara, we didn’t meet John, but enjoyed his coffee. Very nice personal touches from the honesty baskets with treats , the “bubbles lounge” the magazines and LED candles , freshly made bread. We stayed in Bedroom one,...

Wow ! We stayed in room 1 and I have to say it was fantastic. From start to finish we couldn't fault anything . A nautical theme runs throughout the b&b and the attention to detail has been well thought out . Big fluffy towels and luxury duck down duvet and pillows makes it even more inviting. The breakfast was...

This may be the perfect B&B - stylish, warm and relaxed with great breakfast. We came with a group of 6 just before Christmas and felt as if we were staying with chic friends. We all immediately started planning return visits for the summer. Warmly recommended!

Stayed at the Laindons with my wife for 2 nights in June. The B&B feels extremely homely and has some lovely touches that make it a little extra special through out. Were made to feel extremely welcome as soon as we arrived with Sara offering advice on what was on that weekend. The breakfast that was include is one of...

We had a lovely 2-night stay at The Laindons using the mid-week £99 deal, which is excellent value. We stayed in the beautiful Room 1, which was enormous, offered lovely views, a comfy bed & bedding and a fabulous bathroom. Breakfasts were excellent, with a wide choice, good quality/local/organic ingredients and lots of thoughtful touches. Nibbles in our room on...

The Laindons is a fantastic B&B. Sara has created a warm, homely place, that has a calm and comforting vibe. The decor is Scandi inspired by her time living in Stockholm (soft blankets, low level lighting, comfy furniture) and it makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. The little touches, such as a well stocked honesty bar...
