Stayed in December, and were lucky to have beautiful weather. The Manager? (apologies that I have forgotten her name...but she was Italian) was utterly welcoming and lovely, and this made our stay really special. Nothing was too much trouble, but it was delivered in a non fussy way and I really respect her ability to do that. A huge asset...

The room - we were in Japan - was a standard size room pleasantly (but not outstandingly) decorated - could do with a little tlc if I am honest. It was quite dark (even with every light on) with nowhere for ladies to see properly to put on make up etc. The wardrobe was impractical, the loo/washbasin were built into...

My review is somewhat late, as we stayed at this hotel in August last year. We stayed in the Manhattan suite at the very top of the house; It was worth the walk up the stairs. It was lovely spacious suite with a gorgeous deep bath, fluffy towels, etc, and with lovely views. We ordered breakfast in our room, and...

We had such a lovely stay here. The room was spacious, decor was beautiful. We requested breakfast in the room for 10am and we received it bang on time. The jacuzzi was a bath tub size and wasn't as big as I expected but was ideal size for my husband, which he enjoyed. Monica at the reception desk was very...

Stayed in the Indian room and everything was as you would expect. Nice size room, bath/jacuzzi was good but definitely not a 2 person one as advertised. View outside was overlooking the back of the adjacent flats but we didn't book for the view. Staff were 100%, could not fault any of them and the breakfast was stunning. Full English...

Arrival lovely and friendly. Manhatten room awesome. It even has a juke box, was hoping for an early night but having way too much fun now. Package with room dinner and breakfast so totally value for money. Artichoke soup divine, Turbot, each mouthfull developed into sumptuous earthy flavours and the lemon semifreddo, yummy. Pinot Gris vanished greedily and the muscat...

The Zanzibar is a unique hotel on the sea front at the St Leonards end of Hastings - right on the sea front. The rooms are themed - we stayed in the Morocco room - it was atmospheric and well appointed with lights and fixtures evoking a north african feel. The room is not large but uses the space very...

An night by the sea in the most perfect hotel. Everything about the stay was perfect. The Manhattan room on the top floor had a perfect view of the English Channel. The room design was great and so too the breakfast delivered to the room. The best part was the superb staff.

My special friend took me there for my birthday. The place and especially the bedrooms are magic. We had an amazing time there and in Hastings where we had never been before. We loved it so much that we bought our own place near by months after !!! The staff is super lovely, the breakfast is divine, the on site...
