Having travelled extensively in the past, I can honestly say that this has been the best place I have stayed, and with full confidence can say that the people make the place. The owners are fantastic and so helpful. Breakfast is amazing, well organised, and tastes great. The variety offered is perfect, catering for a continental or full English breakfast,... More

We stayed here over a weekend where we were going to do a wine tour one day and this was an excellent place to stay. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless and bathroom had clearly been renovated recently. Breakfast was delicious (though there is a set half hour start time for breakfast - this is... More

I confess that I'm not a B&B fan, I prefer the anonymity of a large hotel, but perhaps I am misguided. I spent a three day long weekend at the above location. High on a hill just outside Hastings, Northrise Lodge was a welcome break. Despite being on a semi main road the double glazing took car of all intrusive... More

Northrise Lodge Bed and Breakfast is absolutely fabulous. The hosts Andrea and Nick are so welcoming and cook a fantastic delicious breakfast. We stayed in the Rosemary & Thyme room which is immaculate and beautiful, everything felt pure luxury with fabulous taste in décor and furnishings, the en-suite is stunning. The complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits where plentiful. The... More

This is a beautifully renovated home with a sea view. We stayed in the Rosemary and Thyme room, with brilliant green color theme, a small sitting area and large windows with a panoramic view of the sea. The en suite bathroom had a great shower. The hosts are very kind and friendly, giving us all sorts of tips on where... More

We were researching the area for somewhere to stay for a family wedding. We came across this B & B by mistake and absolutely loved it. We took all 4 rooms for our family and stayed 2 nights. Fabulous beds, furnishings, toiletries and of course great breakfast. Add all that to a very warm welcome and the separate lounge for... More

We stumbled upon wonderful Northrise Lodge when other accommodation plans in the area did not work out. Spent five nights in the Rosemary and Thyme with its comfy bed and large windows with a tiny view to the meadow across the street beyond the houses where occasionally we saw ponies. On a return stay, we would like to try out... More

The mistake was we only booked for one night! Two lovely rooms for ourselves and our parents which both looked brand new and as good as the pictures denote, the attention to detail was obvious; extremely friendly hosts who went out of their way to make sure a short stay was memorable for all the right reasons... and to top... Stayed here last year and back again this year. Friendly owners and very polite, excellent breakfasts and informative. Hope to come again soon! Stayed in the Maple room, showers so nice, my wife wanted to take it home. Within 10 minutes drive from Hastings Town Centre, 45 min walk, or there are buses available right outside the door.
