This is a step back in time with exquisite attention to detail. This deserves a 5+ rating! Almost don't want to share this as it was so good. Bed+room, immaculate and a period piece. Breakfast, delicious and served in the beautiful dining room. Quiet, parked outside in the road, no problem. Lovely stay in all respects.

We have just come away from a truly superb stay at St Benedict's. From the moment the door opens, you feel as though you've stepped back in time to a quieter, calmer, gentler world. And I can't even begin to do justice to the incredible furnishings and decorations in every room. There are pictures on the website that would give you...

St Bendicts is a B&B that has to be experienced. Photos and reviews just do not do it justice. The whole place is a wonderful recreation of the Victorian era, combined with comfort, good food and excellent, welcoming hosts in Stephen & Paul. In addition to the seaside there is so much to do in the area. On our way...

I would repeat everything great everyone has written but also add how lovely Catherine was, in the absence of the owners she looked after our little party last night and this morning. We felt utterly relaxed, spoiled and extremely well fed. We had arranged for her to prepare an evening meal for us and it was sublime, what a cook!...

We had the pleasure of staying here last night. We were beautifully looked after by Catherine and the rooms were perfect. This is truly a labour of love and they have thought of everything. We would highly recommend staying here.

This really was a very special house. It would be a disservice to the owners to call it a 'themed' bed and breakfast. You do not put that much effort and care into something for it to even fall into that category. The attention to detail was amazing. My wife and I had Mr Parry's room and it was great....

I can only agree with all the good things that have been said. I wish we could have stayed more than one night. There's so much to look at! We were greeted, very warmly, by Stephen and Paul and served tea with home made cake in the beautiful garden. Such a treat. Our room or should I say, rooms, were...

I'm trying not to reiterate all the positive comments from previous reviews but just to say ditto and thrice ditto! Please be assured this is not some cheaply themed homage to the Victorian era but a loved and lovingly curated home which Stephen and Paul generously choose to share with their guests. Needless to say we found our stay to...
