We had such an amazing experience celebrating our daughters wedding last weekend that to be honest I'm not sure where to begin with this review! We chose 'The Old Rectory' because it offered both an intimate and a beautiful setting for our wedding. Once we had read all the other Tripadvisor reviews for this stunning place we knew we were... We had a lovely welcome with tea and cake. The room was very spacious and well appointed - the only downside being quite bad traffic noise. Next time we will try for a room at the back. The breakfast was delicious with home produced food. We did manage to park at The Old Rectory but the parking is limited.... We... More

Stayed for one night July 2016. We were greeted warmly and made very welcome. Quirky & artistic interiors. Large lounge but premises very quiet. Freshly cooked tasty breakfast. Excellent location for visiting Hasting's historic old town.

This is a really lovely hotel, very comfortable and stunningly decorated! The breakfast is fab and the owners are lovely. It's taken me ages to write this review, but how lovely it was has stuck in my head. There were many of us for a friends 50th birthday celebration and everyone had a lovely time and felt relaxed! A home... More

from the warm welcome with cake, the lack of fuss when it was discovered I had inadvertently booked for one and arrived with two, to the lovely room, beautiful garden, great location and perfect breakfasts. This was exactly the weekend away we wanted. Good location too - and I even managed a swim in the sea. Thanks Tracy Ann and... More

A great welcome by friendly helpful staff. All our requests were catered for, along with a fab picnic that was prepared for our visit to the beach for the day. The whole place is airy and relaxed, along with a well stocked honesty bar for out of hours nightcaps! An excellent selection on the breakfast menu made for a difficult... More

Amazing place with attention to detail. The Sinnock Room is gorgeous with a comfy bed and there is a stunning garden. Lovely choices for breakfast and we had a wonderful picnic provided for us. The girls are wonderful hosts. We would definitely come back again. Some liqueur options in the honesty bar would be a great addition for a nightcap... More

I stayed for one night this week and everything was perfect for me. A lovely warm welcome from both hosts, a huge room with lovely view of the walled garden, comfortable bed and a wonderful breakfast...with the home made sausage being the highlight ! I will definitely return again.

Stayed one night in June 2016 in the Croft Room, which is very comfortable with adequate hanging space and a bathroom with a large shower. An excellent view of the lovely rear garden. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was excellent - the home cured bacon and home made sausages were delicious, as was the home made... More

One year ago we got married at the Old Rectory, we had a garden wedding- yep we got lucky with the weather! 25 degrees and not a cloud in sight. Tracy Ann and the staff were simply brilliant! To put this into context, I have been a general manager of both boutique hotels and 5 star hotels, The Old rectory... More
