I recently stayed in the Old Rectory for the 2nd time, having also attended as a wedding guest. It's the most beautifully laid out establishment, much more than a classic bed and breakfast. Impeccable design and furnishings, most of most of which I'd have happily packed in my bag if allowed; perfectly charming service and a wonderful breakfast....

My husband and I married at the Old Rectory last July, (see my profile for a review - if you are looking to get married in Hastings, there is nowhere else quite like it!) and stayed in Crown room for our Anniversary last month. Tracey-Anne and the team, as always, run a very tight ship and the care they take... More

At the end of June I was fortunate enough to be invited to a wedding at this delightful venue. The way the garden was set up was perfect for the occasion, just so pretty, The service was impeccable, the food was first class, and it ran extremely well, in part I'm sure by the venues great planning. It was a... More

We stayed at the Old Rectory for our wedding night this July 2016. Even before we arrived the staff were helpful and charming to deal with. After some very busy weeks wedding planning and with our main wedding party planned for two days later, the Old Rectory was for us both a treat and an oasis of tranquility. In the... More

We had such an amazing experience celebrating our daughters wedding last weekend that to be honest I'm not sure where to begin with this review! We chose 'The Old Rectory' because it offered both an intimate and a beautiful setting for our wedding. Once we had read all the other Tripadvisor reviews for this stunning place we knew we were... We had a lovely welcome with tea and cake. The room was very spacious and well appointed - the only downside being quite bad traffic noise. Next time we will try for a room at the back. The breakfast was delicious with home produced food. We did manage to park at The Old Rectory but the parking is limited.... We... More

Stayed for one night July 2016. We were greeted warmly and made very welcome. Quirky & artistic interiors. Large lounge but premises very quiet. Freshly cooked tasty breakfast. Excellent location for visiting Hasting's historic old town.

This is a really lovely hotel, very comfortable and stunningly decorated! The breakfast is fab and the owners are lovely. It's taken me ages to write this review, but how lovely it was has stuck in my head. There were many of us for a friends 50th birthday celebration and everyone had a lovely time and felt relaxed! A home... More

from the warm welcome with cake, the lack of fuss when it was discovered I had inadvertently booked for one and arrived with two, to the lovely room, beautiful garden, great location and perfect breakfasts. This was exactly the weekend away we wanted. Good location too - and I even managed a swim in the sea. Thanks Tracy Ann and... More

A great welcome by friendly helpful staff. All our requests were catered for, along with a fab picnic that was prepared for our visit to the beach for the day. The whole place is airy and relaxed, along with a well stocked honesty bar for out of hours nightcaps! An excellent selection on the breakfast menu made for a difficult... More
