Stayed here for three nights and I am really impressed. The price was excellent, cheaper than chain hotels and the quality of service far exceeded what we would have expected to have. We received a lovely friendly welcome and map with advice about where to visit. Our room was lovely and our bed very comfortable. The guest house was in...

Returning from a honeymoon abroad and landing at Gatwick late at night, we wanted to extend our holiday with a few days in Brighton. The Griffin was an excellent choice and started well with an incredibly late arrival which was accommodated by Chris and Kieran with great warmth and friendliness - plus a bottle of Prosecco! The room at the...

I have just come back from a 4 nights stay at the Griffin , what a lovely place. From the minute we entered the place we got a lovely warm welcome from Kieran one of the owners . Straight away we were sorted out with our parking permits ( £10.00 per day which is charged everywhere ) then shown to...

Me and my wife stayed here on a Monday to Friday trip. We couldn't have been made more welcome. We were looked after from the minute we walked through the door. You really couldn't wish for better service anywhere. Our room was spotless and cleaned daily and there is a shared kitchen too so you can nip and make a...

Having been impressed by previous reviews before our stay we knew to expect something special, sure enough our expectations were met. In fact they were superseded, firstly by the hospitality, a level of service you'd never get from your 'every town' hotel. Our fears about parking (being in the heart of it and all that) were soon allayed when Kieran...

The Griffin is in an excellent location. Five minutes from the seafront, handy for the Lanes and North Laines. Stylish individual rooms, comfy beds/pillows. Conservatory with complimentary tea, coffee, lovely biscuits, water available at all times. Very effective fans in the rooms, double glazing and constant hot water. Kieran is lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Booked the room with the whirlpool tub with my partner and had a lovely staycation! It's in a great location close to the city center and you can easily walk to the beach or the shopping districts. Head over to lush to get some bath bombs to really get the night going! Loved that we could watch the TV while...

Wow can I just say this hotel is a gorgeous boutique hotel run by the nicest people you could meet. The room we stayed in had a four poster and a jacuzzi bath at the end of it. Ideally located a short walk from the big wheel and the pier. With the main shopping just 5 mins further. A must...

My wife and I stayed here for three nights as part of our mini-honeymoon. The owners were very friendly on arrival and welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco. The room itself was perfect, very large with whirlpool bath and four-poster bed. We were very happy with the cleanliness of the room and the free wifi was also good. Our...
