Great place to stay in Brighton in Regency Square. The public rooms and bedrooms are stylish but with comfort in mind. We stayed in Jubba on the 2nd floor overlooking the square and this is a really lovely room with comfortable bed, a sliding divider to seperate the lounge area with TV and sofa from the bedroom. The walk in shower is perfect and there is also a bath, L'Occitane products, slippers, bathrobes and fluffy towels complete what is basically a well thought out place to stay.

Absolutely sensational and cannot fault the hotel and it's staff. Jelena and staff were brilliant, and gave us the most enjoyable stay. No ask was too big. They even served breakfast in our room at 6am on Sunday on the day of the marathon and the following days breakfast was served with a beautiful view!!! I cannot wait to return for another break... This is the only hotel I would want to stay in in Brighton!

My wife and I stayed for two nights as part of a short anniversary break that included Brighton and Winchester.

We had booked the Aragon room online and arrived to a warm welcome. The room was large, and well appointed. The bed was super comfortable. The shower room is very small, and the shower itself was also on the small side. Nevertheless, fantastic to have a sauna, large jacuzzi bath, a large wash basin and another separate WC in the basement area.

We ate breakfast in the restaurant both mornings. The quality of the food is excellent, especially the eggs and sausages! Service was quick and efficient and always with a smile.

The bar area is of a good size for the hotel and has an excellent choice of beers, wines and spirits. The cocktails were great, and not stupidly priced.

We did have a couple of small issues with the room but both were dealt with quickly and effectively by the staff. And certainly didn't spoil our stay. So, fair play to the staff and management for sorting these things out.

Location is excellent. About a 10 minute walk to the Lanes and most restaurants / bars. We stayed midweek, but did not need to use the supplied earplugs - we found it quiet.

If we come to Brighton again, we would have absolutely no hesitation in staying here - it would be the first hotel we would look for availability. A top stay and all credit to the staff for being so helpful.

The good thing was comfortable beds, sheets, towels.
Less good. Not very welcoming. Lots of rules about not pinching things. If you can afford 500 for two nights not sure you would want to pinch a wooden fish ornament etc. or the watered down toiletries. Pretty sure I could feel from the tiny bottles that they had been wiped over and re used/re filled. This would be ok if it was for environmental reasons and they used bigger bottles and admitted they are not changed between guests. (As in premier inn, even)
not the best view.. lots of other squares to choose that don’t have the I360 at the end. Very noisy seagulls if that bothers you though best avoid anywhere in Brighton. The smoker next door meant the smell permeated into our room. No breakfast included in the very inflated price. There are many squares and many hotels. This one is just a big big for its boots.

I haven’t done a review in such along time but after Check-In & check out on the same day I feel the need to write. We booked the luxury Eden room a week before, after calling the hotel to clarify a few things. Emails from the hotel a few days before checking our arrival times & departure times and did we need anything in the room before arriving. We had confirmed arrival @ 1.30pm

Yesterday we arrived to a closed hotel, no lights on the door was locked @ 2pm, it was drizzling rain so we decided to call the hotel. No reply we rang 3/4 times no reply. Then a lady appeared behind us who works in the hotel, she couldn’t get in either. We had to wait in the drizzling rain for the maintenance manager to open the door.

The lady apologised and said this wasn’t a great start but things would get better! Unfortunately they didn’t.

Our room wasn’t ready. The bar didn’t open till 3pm! But after complaining the lady did make us a drink!
We had left home at 10.30am, so was desperate for a drink by then.

We went out for lunch & came back, the lady explained that the hotel was having some work carried out after a flood.
The maintenance man had been in the room that we was allocated, he’d used the toilet not flushed and ash in the pan!

We start unpacking then noticed when we used the sink in the bathroom, poring water. The lady offered a different room, ( The room shown, top floor, wasn’t suitable, the windows were filthy dirty the corridors smelt musty the lady had been up prior to us viewing the room with an air freshener, we just couldn’t stay. Especially when your paying almost £600 for 2 nights.

Now we found ourselves having to find a new hotel to stay in late into the afternoon, it was very stressful. How can this hotel have such great reviews, I certainly would not recommend.

We have just returned to our home in Yorkshire after a wonderful 3 night stay at the boutique Hotel Una. Firstly the hotel is in a perfect location in Regency Square with secure car parking opposite. We were greeted by very welcoming, friendly & extremely professional staff. Check in with Angel was smooth & very quick. We stayed in the Danube room overlooking the square. The room was spacious & filled with light with a lovely balcony for your morning coffee. We loved the quirkiness & it’s unique style. It was immaculately clean & the bed was incredibly comfortable. Coffee & tea facilities were plentiful & all the toiletries were from the White Company & smelt divine. The cute bar downstairs was fab for late night drinks - I forget the great bar mans name but he looked after us brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble in this hotel & I would highly recommend it to anyone making a trip to Brighton. You certainly won’t be disappointed. We ourselves intend to return as soon as we can & it will be our first choice,

I have enjoyed two trips to Brighton this summer and stayed at The Una on both occasions. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming and the rooms I've had (Danube and Orinoco) have both been beautiful, filled with interesting design details, bespoke furniture and modern bathrooms. In a way I preferred Orinoco as it's more cosy and on a higher floor so less affected by noise from Regency Square, but Danube had a cute little balcony overlooking the square and the i360, and a lovely freestanding tub. it's very nice to be able to pick just the right room for you from the detailed descriptions of each on the website.

I was a little concerned about internal noise when I first checked in, as the building is converted from several Regency houses and has some very creaky floors, but I wasn't disturbed by banging doors or noisy conversations in the corridor during either stay and slept very well. I also enjoyed having a kettle and a coffee machine. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice including eggs benedict and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. There's a great little bar too, with a barman who can make proper cocktails.

I would highly recommend The Una. It's a straightforward 10 minute walk along the seafront to the Lanes, the Pier etc.

We stayed at the hotel Una a couple of weekends ago, to get a break from our home town, and from a disaster of a year, and my word - it was absolutely brilliant.

Firstly, the hotel staff are wonderful. We were allowed to check in early, and the staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them.

We stayed in the Belize suite, which had a huge and comfy bed, and a seating area where we played games in the evening, along with a walk in shower with amazing water pressure and a sink with wonderful natural light to do your make up in.

Behind a closed door, to what you think would be a closet, is a stairway down to an enclosed and beautifully lit huge jacuzzi bath, with mood lighting and soft fluffy towels. Leading to the right is a little enclosed and warm seating area leading to your very own sauna!!

The room was beautifully clean, easy to use with instructions to all the mod cons you could wish for, like blue tooth speakers.

We required some soya milk for tea, and the team brought us down a little supply in a hamper full of clean towels, and mini toiletries, which are all the White Company.

Staying here is an absolute must in Brighton, as the location is absolutely perfect, with parking in the underground car park opposite. Honestly, we didn't want to leave!

Thank you so much Hotel Una, for a brilliant stay.

Finally had a chance to sit down and write this after staying 3 weeks ago. Following a two day course in Brighton, staying at the Grand, we arrived at Gatwick to find our flight was cancelled and told to return the following morning. Unfortunately the Grand was hosting a conference and was now fully booked. It was now early evening and panic started to set in. Thankfully we found The Una on TA and what an joyous, find it was. This small but extremely upmarket, boutique hotel is absolutely beautiful, striking the perfect balance between, comfort and style. Beautifully furnished (the bar could be straight out of Mayfare), they gave us their last room which was really quite stunning. Whilst the lift was being serviced and therefore not in use, this was absolutely fine as the amazing wooden staircase is honestly a feature in itself. By this time it was late and had to be back to the airport early so we just had a drink at the bar and retired. We were first down for breakfast and whilst I didn't catch the lady's name (she had long dark hair), she was absolutely wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The crushed avocado on sourdough was absolutely delicious. Our only frustration was that this had been a whistle-stop stay but vowed to be back before Christmas. I genuinely can't recommend this place enough. Granted it's not the cheapest place in the world but worth every penny nonetheless. Finally, as beautiful the Una is, I'm sure you'll agree that any hotel in the world is only ever as good as it's staff. The guys here were amazing. They fully understood our predicament and did everything they could to help. A big shout out to Angel, who that evening really came through for us and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Thank you again.! Worth a trip to Brighton (or anywhere in the UK for that matter) just to stay here. Thank you again Guys and we really can't wait to return x

Friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. Aragon room has a sauna and jacuzzi bath, plus a small outside area below street level. Also the room has air conditioning (which at night time is noisy)

Negative issues
Aragon room has a small bathroom. Plus the room has very poor WiFi, which when you are paying £335 per night, you do expect the service that you pay for. Also can do with mains socket or USB socket next to bed to charge your phone at night time.

Danube has been our favourite there so far... the views out the front are lovely and the bath in the room / walk in shower are both very nice. The Santana is also a lovely room but you don't get the same views as in Danube. Enjoy your stay, you won't be disappointed it's lovely. Regency Mews Secure Parking is great value for money but you need to book in advance as they book up quickly. Claire

There is a 24hr council car park under the square in front of the hotel. That's it. It is not the most expensive car park in Brighton but not cheap either.
