Just spend two nights here, for my wife's birthday. This b&b is in an ideal location for the beachfront & other main attractions in Brighton. We stayed in room 6 at the back of the b&b, which had a comfy double bed & modern on suite. We found this room quite compact, but know from previous b&b's spacious bedrooms are... More

Lovely place to stay, welcomed by owners, very friendly and accommodating. Provided us with lots of local information regarding places to go/visit including eateries, beaches and events. Breakfast was made to order, all fresh and hot.

This is the 2nd year running that I have stayed at the Alvia over the weekend of Pride. The owners Mark and Pierre have always been very accommodating, they are always smiling and make you feel right at home. The rooms have everything you need (inc hair dryer), there is a variety of home made breakfasts provided (I always choose... More

Small, well located guest house, very clean, welcoming and helpful. Only issue is parking as it is on the road and meter needs feeding. Short walk to Brighton sea front and 10 minutes from the Lanes. Good location for a one night stay

I get through 15-20 hotels etc. in W. Europe & US every year. Quality is very high here. Very well located. Entire centre of Brighton in walking distance. If it's the Lanes orRoyal Pavilion for you... You will not be disappointed.

I would recommend the hotel to anyone and the breakfast was great! It was in an ideal position for exploring Brighton. The owners were extremely helpful, allowing us to leave our bags at the hotel after we had checked out.

Came with my sister to spend 24 hours with my son and his partner. Mark was very friendly as we arrived and we parked behind the house for an extra £20. Well worth it if you're driving and only staying for one night. Room was lovely. Comfortable and spotless as was the bathroom.
