Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alvia hotel. Very clean and efficiently run. Everyone there was extremely friendly and helpful. David helped us with directions and sightseeing advice, as did Heather who serves the very tasty breakfast that is included with your stay. It's small, ten rooms... ours was at the top with a private bathroom. Everything was as promised. Also... More

I received an email before my trip asking when they could expect my arrival, which I really appreciated! When I arrived David was waiting for me and he made me feel right at home. He offered helpful tips for getting around Brighton and also cooked a great English Breakfast. This property is located two blocks north of Brighton Beach and... More

This place is great, stayed here whilst visiting my brother who lives in nearby Worthing to watch some cricket at Hove. On our first day we where greeted by two lovely dogs, and then our great host Mark. Check in was fast and efficient and we where shown our rooms. I stayed in room three, and this room was great,... Very welcoming hosts, we arrived late but that was no problem. time was spent issuing us with a guide/map of Brighton and places of interest pointed out. The place is very clean and the rooms are smart. The Breakfast was very nice indeed, we thoroughly enjoyed it. What more can one ask for.

We stayed at The Alvia for 3 nights while we attended a conference in one of Brighton's hotels. We immediately liked the people running it. They were friendly, businesslike and ensured we were comfortable (assisted with getting our bag up the stairs). They really have this right. The breakfasts are good and there is choice. They have a wonderful dog called... More
