The hotel is average at best but was adequate to serve the purpose we required of it. However, shortly after coming back to the hotel room from some celebrations in Brighton that night (not drunk hooligans as you may be thinking), the fire alarm went off. The one in our room had been activated, some deodorant or something had been... More

This place was terrible from the moment we walked in. We paid over £440 to stay in an 8 bed dorm which looked like a prison bunk room. Included free with our room was air conditioning which came from the window pane being broken but unfortunately it didn't stretch to giving us any towels. We asked about towels and we... More

This is a hostel, and not well maintained, at that. The exterior is not encouraging when you arrive, and you immediately begin to to consider the options if the vibe continues inside. While the reception guys are OK, the vibe is that whatever you booked, there will be extras - £20 deposit for a key, +5% if you pay by... More

I stayed during a weekend in Brighton and I chose this hotel to spend The night. Despite The staff at reception was very kind, i got quite upset at my arrival. The location of The hotel is more than perfect, and I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a room with sea view. I was told previously by email that... More

We stayed at this place as a booking through a stag company, and after reading reviews of the place we were skeptical, however as a low cost place to get your head down it served a purpose. We were told by the booking site that it would be 100 cash deposit but when we arrived that had gone up to... More

After reading some of the reviews I was dreading staying here. We booked this hotel to stay after the London brighton bike ride. I had a double room and my friends had a room for three. Both our rooms were perfectly fine and considering we stayed out late and didn't get to bed til 4 am I had a great... More

Booked a 12 bed dorm for a night for a stag do. Staff were impressively responsive and helpful beforehand, by phone and email. The hostel itself was fine - seemed clean enough, not noisy, no undesirables hanging around. In short: it had beds, which we successfully slept in for a few hours. It is a good half hour walk from... Our experience didn't start off well as the reception staff flat-out refused to accept that we had cancelled four of our beds and made us pay for 13, despite only 9 people staying. They were not apologetic, wouldn't offer a compromise, they didn't care and accused us of lying- so don't expect any help or sympathy from these people. However,... More

If you want a hostel then this is perfectly fine. We were 12 girls on a hen do in a room of double bunks for 14. It was basic but clean. The communal setting worked for us because we had the room to ourselves. 24 hour reception. Didn't try the breakfast so no comment on that. It's not special. It's... More

Stayed here in a group of 9 for a stag night. It's dirty, it smells bad, there's damp everywhere, mouldy all over the place, electrics are faulty, residents are noisy, breakfast is poor with very little choice. It's a long walk/£10 taxi to the town centre, the price increased from what was originally stated online, duvets are not washed between... More
