Stayed here for one night recently, the hotel is quite tired and needs a good clean, the breakfast was cold and inedible apart from the pastries. We arrived late in the evening and went straight to sleep, next morning we noticed that the TV was damaged, reported it to reception when we checked out early the next morning. The hotel... More

very cheap place to stay excellent value, a deposit of £10, is handed over when you check in which is refunded, in addition to your fee for the night, breakfast is basic toast coffee jam, cereals and juices, i stayed in a 18 bed dorm, the bed was comfy, a bathroom was in the room with a toilet, which is... We stayed in a double room, the room is basic but nice , the bed was really big and comfortable, staff is lovely and they are very helpful. Location is great, shops and restaurant 5 minutes walk from the hotel, and it's right on the beach. I would definitively reccomend this hotel, it's cheaper than most hotels in Brighton. I'm... More

Cheap and warm. A good atmosphere. Many young people. You can't rely on the continental breakfast :you get just some milk and cereals, toasts and jam. Anyway, because you pay little money, you can' t pretend much more.

Dilapidated. Lousy service. Breakfast was inedible. The room tired, filthy and the bed was uncomfortable. The wifi is ropy. It is a a poor quality hostel with some dodgy tenants. (thus the need to depand a £10 key depoit at check in)

7 of us stayed here for a stag and if I am being totally honest it was absolutely perfect for what we needed it for. Compared to the other accomm in Brighton it was obviously a cheap hostel not an expensive hotel, so we had an idea what to expect.. and I have to say the expectations were exceeded. Both... More

Great for working on a budget. Polite staff and great facilities. I was on a hike from Doncaster to Brighton and stayed here for 2 nights. I highly recommend this for backpackers visiting Brighton. Definitely would stay again. Thanks guys. Phil.

I stayed there as a solo female traveller and I just wouldn't recommend. There are a lot of weird and interesting characters that stay there and I would stay out in town at night just to avoid going back. The beds are surprisingly comfortable but the bathrooms are horrible. Breakfast is free but one of the worst meals I have... More

I stayed there for one week and it wasn't the money worth. The people who work there are really nice and helpful but the condition of the room was unhygienic. The bed had a funny smell and bunk bed were too small for a tall person. The toilet and the shower in the room didn't work at first. The toilet... More

I had the pleasure of staying here with some friends over the magnificent “Brunswick Festival” weekend (great place to pick up some sunnies for the Brighton rays). In the run up to our trip we had read some slightly mixed reviews but any preconceptions were quickly dispelled by the friendly staff who greeted us on our arrival. It is true... More
