A gorgeous boutique hotel. The friendliest staff who did a great job at making every guest feel welcome. This is a hotel that will appeal to those who like to have fun and enjoy a lively atmosphere. During the day the place is a quirky building brimming with character, but at night the place becomes a hive of activity with...

Not somewhere we would normally book but an excellent find and we will return for sure. Warm welcome, friendly staff, excellent location to sea, town, shops etc. Delicious breakfast, almost felt like you were at home. Love the Curly Wurly touch :) thank you

Really lovely evening listening to the talented Mark Hodge. It was like having our own private entertainment. Dolly Parton room really comfortable thank you. Breakfast first class. Great first visit to Brighton.

OK where do I start! Had a gift voucher and to be honest not many places where we could use it. My husband booked this, if I had of been in charge, I would never have considered it. But how wrong I would have been. From the minute we stepped into the hallway with trepedation we were greeted by friendly...

The hotel is a very short walk from the centre of Brighton in a lovely square very near the seafront. Staff are casual, relaxed and efficient and make you feel at home straight away. Registration is in the bar area and it is immediately obvious that this is no ordinary hotel. The wallpaper that took my eye appeared at first...

Stayed on a Saturday night for Brighton Marathon. I had Rough Trade room which for a single room was spacious. Loved the decor and cool touches like a curly whirly chocolate bar and record player. Good size bathroom. Staff were great, really friendly and helpful. Little to criticise, windows are single glazed so not the most soundproof but then any...

If you are looking for something different, not very traditional and, then this place is for you. To me, a life time hotelier, it was a bit too much to enjoy fully. As I am always on my "room inspection" mode, I wasn't very convinced about the cleanness (I can imagine how difficult to clean daily those heavy curtains and...

A themed hotel with tons of rooms! I was bought a room as a surprise and it was incredible!! It can be a little expensive (some of the rooms) but really, it is worth every penny for special occasions!

Loved the bijou feel of this hotel, very quirky. Very friendly staff, a lovely breakfast and a great location. We stayed in the Gresham Blake room, nicely done and a large bathroom. They did tell us it might be noisy as it was above the bar, we didn't hear anything. Next time I stay in Brighton I will defiantly book...

I booked the Do-Knit-Disturb room. Very warm clean and comfortable. Small and compact for a 1-night single person stay. Complimentary Tea and coffee always a bonus, PLUS a midnight munch on the curly whirly! I loved all the knitting inside the room really cute. Decor throughout was a great experience. Continental breakfast looked fine, but didn't really rate my English...
