Room smelt terrible as there was mould underneath the door frames. Massive pile of what looked like sawdust underneath the fireplace and suspect hairs left on the bed. Also overheard staff member mention to a guy who was fixing the buzzer, that if he couldn't fix it he would leave the front door open all night. Not impressed at all,...

Very welcoming managers. Hotel basic but quirky. Old Regency building with expected problems. Leak in bathroom which is a very small room. Stained carpet in bedroom but spacious room with a comfortable double bed. Free wi fi. Great location for shops, cafes and bars. Seafront at bottom of road and easy walk into town centre. Parking however an absolute nightmare....

Stayed for two nights. Room was no bigger than a box room. Old cotton wool pad by fireplace not cleaned from people before. Shower was useless. Toilet broken and very time you flushed made a really bad noise. No remote for tv. Absolutely shocking. This is not a hotel.

Arrived here on 1st July for our anniversary weekend. When booking it I assumed it be a Bed n Breakfast considering it had a 4* rating. Been to a few B&B and have had amazing breakfast. This one doesn't do breakfast which was a bit of a shock. Arrived to use the reception doorbell was let in but no one...

A difficult review as I am not sure what to call this place. It is certainly not a Hotel, nor is it a B&B as it has no breakfast facilities (more later). It's a house with 10 rooms, all with their own facilities but hardly en suite in some of them. One of our party had the front basement room...

My friend and I stayed at the hotel for two nights over the long weekend. We were impressed with the size of the room, it was lovely and airy on the second floor. The wifi worked just fine for us, it was fast and reliable. The bathroom was small but absolutely fine, shower pressure was good. The bed was comfortable...

Staying in Brighton for the weekend, needed a nice room to sleep in and thats what we got. Tidy and functional. WiFi was a bit hit and miss. No PG Tips!!!! Over all a pleasant stay. Staff were very friendly. Sea front just down one end of the road shops and buses at the other end. £5 ride from the...

Lots of very strange aspects to this place. Hard to know where to start. It is not a hotel but a house that lets out rooms. I searched for a B&B online and this popped up. Only thing is....it doesn't do breakfast! Good start! The landline number given appears to be shared with someone called "Frank", who kindly gave me...

Lichfield House is only 20 minutes walk from Brighton Pier and the main shopping street is at the top of the road. We used Regency Secured Parking which cost us £ 16 a day and was a 10 minute walk away. Lichfield House itself way a bit tired looking outside and in, however the bed was clean as were the...

I travelled down for the brighton marathon april 2015, booked the room in May 2014 (11 months prior) to get an email 2 weeks before my stay saying they have overbooked and will put me up in the seafield house in Hove (which was pleasent enough) but a further mile or so from the marathon start and finish. The reason...
