This hotel has a great location on Kings Road. It is walking distance from all the major attractions. We stayed in the Brighton Belle room. It was clean but the room could have done with a fresh coat of paint as patches of damp were starting to appear. Breakfast is served downstairs in Smokey's restaurant. It is al carte and... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights in the Pavilion Room. Found that the décor is nice and I enjoyed the view of the English Channel. upon arrival we discovered our kettle had a calcium build up and the person at the front desk made the effort to clean it out but also explained that they have had water so... Stayed for 3 nights in The Brighton Belle room (twin room) with my adult daughter. The location is great and although the building is old and therefore not perfect, e.g. one or two patches on the walls in our room (from previous damp problem?) everywhere was beautifully clean and cared for. Our beds were comfortable, there was plenty of storage... More

Stayed one night with family too. 2 X lovely themed rooms overlooking the beach and new observatory being constructed. The Prince Regeant room had been refurbished and was super! Breakfast really nice in Smokeys down below. Good parking in Regency Square car Park which said £18 for 24 hours but we only paid £16. Safe underground parking by Brighton council.

Stayed here on my own for two nights whilst at a conference - it was one of the recommended hotels. I was in a second floor front room (Marina) which had floor to ceiling sash windows - nice for the sea view and for ventilation, which was very necessary as it was warm and there was no aircon. There is... More

The stairways and halls had carpets which were dirty and badly stained....look like they had never seen a carpet clearer. The was and wallpaper where ripped and score up the entire... More

Arrived late on Friday and was greeted warmly. Key given promptly allowing us to rest. The room was nice, shower lovely and fresh towels each morning. Cost was fine and location was good (right next to the seafront). Enjoyed our time and would recommend.

We stayed in the spa room with seafront views and it was the best spa bath I have ever had. You can watch the tv from the bath and it's right on the seafront. What more could you want when staying in Brighton. i will be going back!

We have been staying at this hotel, since 2012, every 6 - 8 weeks of the year. This follows several years of staying at a "corporate" hotel just a few buildings further along the promenade. I cannot even think of a single reason for not finding the Granville one of the most popular and fantastic Boutique style hotels i have... More
