Lovely hotel great location. However.. -£200 for a night and no air-con in the summer (on a hot day) and the window only open a little :/ -£200 and breakfast was NOT included. -My friend and I are non-smokers and we did not know when booking that our room was a smoker room there was no option when booking, when... Dear Chloe, I am very sorry to hear that your stay was not satisfactory. We do not advertise that we have A/C. When the hotel reopened in 2000 A/C was installed. The external units disintegrated over 10 years of sea salt corrosion. The fan coil units remained in bedroom as a heat option only. Windows restrictors are fitted for health... More

This was a completely impromptu booking, and I really do wish that I had bothered to check the reviews on here first. It was the cheapest place to stay in the area for that Saturday night that was still available, although for 155 pounds for the night I would have expected a very different experience, level of service, and standard... Dear Antonio, Thank you for your review to your recent stay at the Royal Albion Hotel. First of all , yes good location and beautiful views IF you get a front facing room. Unfortunately myself and my partner did not get so lucky even after requesting a front facing room👎🏼😒 Check in took around 25 minutes due to the receptionist not being able to multitask or perhaps she wished to take her time. The hotel could... More

Booked as a anniversary celebration. Requested sea view room with seven days notice , didn't even get an email back saying no can do . Had a view of main road/ bus stop. Room obviously in need of upgrade that didn't really bother me. The fact that the dust on the skirting/ headboard light shade inches deep. Oh and pubic... More

I've stayed in many hotel's in Brighton over the years, would not return to this one. VERY RUDE MANAGER, receptionist and barman had been replaced by robots as zero sincerity with customers. Uncomfortable rooms, housekeeping waking you up on the off chance of you being about to leave at 8.10am. Only plus point is location! the Never again.....

The only positive about this hotel is the location, very close proximity to the beach etc but a nightmare at night. Stayed on the third floor and the noise each night was horrendous, well into the early hours, not that sleep was possible in the room we had. I have never slept on such a hard bed before. I am... We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children and stayed for 1 night on a bed and breakfast and evening meal deal. This hotel badly needs upgrading and a good clean. Food leaves a lot to be desired. It is certainly in a good position for all the attractions and thankfully there are plenty good eating places as you need them . It is very noisy in room at nights as there is a nightclub across road and patrons seem to like... More

My parter and I visited for pride weekend and understandably paid top prices for such an in demand weekend. The only redeeming feature of this place is location. It's expensive and awful. We paid nearly £200 a night for rooms in the basement that had "views" of alleyways full of rubbish and dead insects in the bathroom. The whole place smelt of dead dreams and crushed hopes. There was an ad for weddings "from £999". If you're booking as... More
