Had the misfortune of staying here when we couldnt get a room anywhere else. This is not a hotel its a hostel, and a really bad one at that. Dirty, run down & should be shut down. There was a Bottle of what looked like urine in the wardrobe. The Bathroom was discusting: the taps spun when turned on, toilet...

I was looking for an accomodation in Brighton after a long stage of my journey by bicycle from Italy to London. I was tired and had been asking to several hotels along the road in Brighton centre but they were all fully booked, when I got this "hotel". I should have asked before to give a look to the room....

My friend and I decided to take a last minute trip to Brighton so had to scout out a hotel.. Unfortunately for us, we stumbled across this one. I have never been as shocked as I was when I got in to the "bedroom". First of all the front door barely locked, the carpet was peeling up and was full...

The room was cheap but the room we stayed in was very dated with ripped curtains barely covering the windows, the sheets were not very clean and the noise at night was unbearable. If i had seen this hotel was on here when we stayed there is no way i would have parted with my money and stayed there. This...

Despite the banner outside claiming the price for a room was £40 We had to part with £60 for a double room. It was raining and late so we reluctantly accepted. The decor seemed as if unchanged since 1970's and the garish polyester bedsheets looked like they were made from Gary Glitters old cape. They were filthy too. The mattress...

when we arrived the manager couldnt find our booking and tried charging us too much, It stunk of whiskey and was filthy, we were then sent upstairs to look for the chambermaid that had keys which i thought was terrible service. When we finally got into our room it was discusting, it smelt and the windows were jammed open, we...

The hotel was undergoing refurbishment and I was made aware of that when booking the room. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and advised me of some good attractions to visit in Brighton. I was given one of the recently refurbished rooms and as a member of the building trade, I was extremely impressed with the standard of work.
