Avoid The Willows in Brighton at all costs, left a very bitter taste in my mouth. FIRST ROOM. I requested that we moved from the first room we were in as I did not feel that it was safe. The owners of the establishment decided that they wanted to renovate the rooms by adding wood cladding around the walls. The... More

This hotel is in a great location. Our room was on the top floor what incurred loads of stairs what was a killer after a few drinks lol... Room was freshly decorated and bed was lovely and comfy. Blind didn't close properly (no twisty thing to close them) but the room was very clean. Couldn't connect to wifi for some... More

The hotel is clearly undergoing reservations and I am sure it will be nice when finished but at the moment everything is rough around the edges and the owners should consider charging less during this period. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the location is fantastic. We paid £140 for one night in a double room on... More

We stayed in The Willows for one night with our 5 year old daughter. Our top floor room was bright and sunny with a lovely view of the pier. The lady on reception was charming and so very helpful. You won't get better value accommodation in Brighton. Our overall impression of Brighton seafront - absolutely disgusting, filthy and an absolute... More

We stayed here for a few days in the summer and it was an OK stay. I would've hoped for a room higher up as we had booked a sea view room but had cars blocking our view. But we weren't in the room for very long anyway as we were out exploring Brighton. We were unfortunate to have the... More

Positives: Warm Clean Helpful staff Good wifi Negatives: Gradually got very hot- couldn't sleep No iron No breakfast/food Overall - fine for one night before a conference, not a great stay for any longer. Wouldn't recommend for anything other than business.

Picked hotel because of the price and location (admittedly I cannot fault the location) however upon arrival I was greeted with piles of broken wood and rubbish outside the front. The man in charge informed us that the hotel was being upgraded but all building work would cease at 5pm and our room had been finished already. Despite reservations I... More

We were given the staff member's "favourite room" at the front of the building - apparently his favourite because there were no steps to carry luggage up/down, and he must hate steps. Once we'd tucked in for the night, it soon became clear that this guy must also love being woken up at least 5 times during the night by... More
