I can't give it 1/5 because not all of the problems are the hotel's fault necessarily. We stayed on the top floor (room 10) which had a sink in the room but no toilet or shower, they were on the floor below, so we had to wash our hands in the shower if we went to the toilet, so already... More

Excellent position, spotlessly clean, proprietors very helpful. Room was on the small side but perfectly adequate. All you need for a short break in Brighton. Thank you Lee, We will definitely return.

We stayed in a very tiny room, and our toilet and shower was on the floor below . Although I thought I would hate this it wasn't that bad. The toilet and shower was exclusively ours and clean Although the room was small again it was clean, had towels and bottles of water on the bed. The room is slightly... More

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Typical of many in Brighton the place is a bit shabby, but it was clean and the bed comfortable. Fortunately we had a room with ensuite facilities, others seem to have them separate but dedicated to each room. The big advantage of this hotel is its central location, a massive plus.... More

I booked this place for its location - closeness to the start of the Brighton Half marathon. For that it has been excellent. We stayed for three nights in a superior room, with a bath inside the room. It was fine, but nothing special. The toilet room was very cold, probably as it is surrounded by single glazed Windows. The... More

Arrived for weekend in Brighton! This place looked great on website. Did not check the reviews and to me honest wish I had. Too old and dated with single glazed Windows. Heating only came on for a short while. Bedroom was cold. Very noisy with people outside until gone 4.30am. Would not return again. :-(

Generally okayish. The house keeper seemed a little rude and we had 3 flights of stairs to climb with a heavy suitcase, the bathroom was tiny and was a squeeze to get in past the sink! The shower was in the room which made things very complicated.... Came back one day with all the room doors left open.. we had... More

£150 for 2 nights in December for the most horrible room ever. The room was tiny, everything in the room was broken, or extremely poor quality, the blinds felt off when I tried to open the window, the shower(with broken cabin doors) was in the middle of the room, the bed was old and very uncomfortable. No heating, the room was... More

Reasonably priced guest house in a town full of expensive hotels. Lots of stairs so not recommended for the disabled. Small, clean rooms. We were on the top floor at the back so there was no noise even on a Friday / Saturday night, apart from other guests arriving home. Great location near the pier. Only street parking which seems... Well located place. The staff was able to help with parking passes for a small see. It's a short walk to the pier. There are plenty of pubs, cafes, and resturaunts in the area. My room at the very top had a priviate restroom a fee steps below. You will recieve a key so you can lock it as well.
