No reception, no welcome or pleasantries. The room was competively priced, warm and clean. Decor was tired and drab. The real downside was the shower room (cupboard). So small it was hard to lift your arms to wash your hair and only one towel to dry yourself. Comfortable bed and not much noise from the road outside. No parking facilities....

This is not a luxury hotel, however, the room was clean, the shower worked as did the key and other facilities. A good place to base a weekend's visit. Close, i.e. walking distance to where I wanted to be, not too noisy, comfortable bed

My son and I spent one night here as we didn't fancy traveling late to go back home after going to a gig. On arrival, a very nice Chinese lady receptionist gave us the keys to our room (number 15) and she was very helpful and informative to let us know where the best places to eat, have breakfast next...

When I arrived the very flustered lady in the hotel - there is no reception here - told me my room door lock (no 20) wouldn't lock unless I fiddled with it, which I did when I went out and when I went to bed. When I went out this morning the lady promised the lock would be sorted. It...

Needed a one night stop after an evening out. This was suitably priced and available! Clean throughout, tea and coffee facilities and on my visit very quiet. Rooms were small, however, fine for me. In a quiet part of town but only ten minutes from downtown. No issues at all but did have to park in a town centre car...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was clean and tidy and large enough for the 2 of us. A perfect base for our weekend away. Close enough to the town but far enough away so that we were unbothered by the hustle and bustle.

Me and 8 others stayed for 2 nights at the hotel for a hen weekend in July 2016. On first impressions things seemed OK, albeit the rooms were a little dated, but nevertheless clean and adequate for what we needed and also priced fairly. The owner/manager however is very unprofessional; constantly interrupts when trying to make enquiries upon check in,...
