Been meaning to write a review For a while now. First visit to this campsite for myself and my family last summer. Was skeptical about the not so great reviews I read on here, but was willing to see for my own eyes. And what can I say! I like to start by saying that people need to remember they...

Monday to Friday this site is basic but good - owners were friendly and site was peaceful. Friday and Saturday forget it unless you want extremely loud music. Previous reviewer got it right PA system and arc lights so its not a one off. What a shame - the previous owner Roy Savage who ran the site before he sadly...

I think the best way to describe this site is a field with some very basic toilets. There are no other amenities. I came here last night for my sisters birthday. There was 5 of us , 3 tents. We drove up, parked next to where We pitched up and someone on a golf buggy came to settle up £7pp...

We have returned from Alfriston today. This is our 3rd time at the camp site and sadly we will not be returning. The owners don't care for the lack of space and cram as many campers in as possible. There is a second field where my family and my brothers' family stayed. However, further down this second field were ravers,...

We have just come back from a weekend (me and my adult daughter). I have visited this site 3 times before and always had a lovely relaxing time. It's in a beautiful setting but I will not be returning. We arrived Friday evening, there was a private function in a separate field (wigwams). They had a PA system and a...

Campsite was perfectly adequate in terms of facilities.....hot clean showers and reasonable toilets. The staff we saw were very friendly and helpful. But come night time - too noisy for my liking. Both Friday and Saturday evening disturbed by 2 X different groups just having a good time. OK if you can spend the night with earplugs in! But not...

Stayed weekend with family. Very very busy. This did not present as a quiet family orientated place, more of a place to drink and make noise (sing, shout, scream, music) until the early hours with impunity despite the sign saying "10.30 no noise", most people didn't give a damn or had a "if you can't beat them join them" attitude. Facilities...

Just returned home from a great weekend at this site. We took our tent (me, hubby two children 6&3 yrs) and my sis and her family joined us. Firstly it's a very relaxed site, as I'd read there is no reception - you just turn up and choose your spot. No check-in/out times. Toilet and shower facilities are extremely basic...

Had a fantastic long weekend at this beautiful place. Made some great friends all our children and adults got on brilliantly and we was sorry to say goodbye when we left. It was such a lovely atmosphere, children all playing together and adults all chatting. It was great sitting around the campfires in the evening. The washing up facilities were...
