Have stayed at this site a couple of times now as love the location. Facilities are basic but fine for camping. Can get quite noisy at peak times so avoid peak holiday times if you are looking for a quiet stay or avoid Saturday nights which seem very busy. We love the location so will be visiting again soon.

Superb campsite nestled in the folds of the South Downs with nice scenic views. Dog friendly and pitch where you like. Had an excellent 3 day stay, Monday - Thursday so peaceful and tranquill. The village is less than a 10 minute walk, with excellent pubs and a couple of little shops for provisions, one with an excellent deli counter.... More

I'll be honest and say I wasn't sure what to expect of the site given that it pretty much looks like any old field, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were superb, the situation was excellent and the facilities were first rate and plentiful. I particulalrly liked the relaxed atmosphere created by the team who kind of just let... More

We loved this campsite. Very relaxed atmosphere, nobody breathing down your neck. You can pitch where you like. Quiet field. No noise from roads or airports. Amenities very basic but functional. Alfriston is a beautiful village. We stayed for just 2 nights but we will definitely be coming back here.. Pleased we found it.

I stayed here with my first time camper girlfriend. I have stayed at many campsites in the past. Large, open field that allowed plenty of space around our pitch. Staff were friendly and relaxed (we just pitched up and they came over an hour later to take payment). The toilets weren't anything special but they sufficed. Our only concern was... More

Stayed here a couple of weekends ago with a group of friends and I can honestly say it's one of the beautiful campsites I've ever pitched up at; right in the heart of the South Downs and only five minutes' walk from the historic and picturesque village of Alfriston, and all for just £7 a night! Some of the reviews... More

Brilliant little camp site, very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. This is what all campsites should be like, If you do not like camping you would not like the site but then why go camping? It is so beautiful here and although the facilities are basic they are clean and tidy. I will 100% be returning. Frank the owner... More

Lovely place .. Friendly staff ... Toilets and showers adequate but shabby .. if only people didn't leave there stuff all over place in the shower block and leave the facilities as they wish to find them... Open fires ..very laid back with impressive campsite views...
