I stayed here for three nights here on my own for a walking break and Little Gem was just what I needed. I felt safe and welcome with a pristine room and en suite and delicious breakfasts. Real value for money and the hosts are lovely. I had to change my initial booking at quite short notice and my hosts...

the owners were extremely friendly from the moment they answered the door. it was clean , very well decorated, quiet and cosy. the bedrooms including en-suite bathroom were completed to a high standard and had a really homely feel - not a hotel atmosphere. great breakfast options! served by the owners with pride. they were proud to display their certificates...

We stayed three nights at Little Gem. Great welcome and a large clean room. Enjoyed the short walks into town and the sea front. Close to some great eateries, with accurate advice from our excellent hosts. Breakfasts were also a credit to the B&B.

We stayed two nights at Little Gem and cannot praise all the facilities highly enough. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully presented with an excellent en-suite. Breakfasts were superb (we chose scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on our 1st day and then the full English on day 2). This set us up for the day! It is situated...

A genuinely fine, friendly and welcoming seaside guesthouse. Scrupulously clean, tidy and within easy access of the town centre and beaches. Very good breakfast provided with good choices. A nice patio area for a glass or two before settling out for the evening meal. Altogether highly recommended.

Certainly lives up to it's name... Warm welcome, taken straight to our room which was very clean & well presented, tea & coffee facilities available. The bathroom was lovely & spacious with shower gel etc provided. Filled out the breakfast menu the night before & could specify a time to. Breakfast was amazing. Little Gem is well described by its name. It is a B&B not a hotel. I had three nights in with a friend we got a lovely welcome on arrival, a really comfortable, spotlessly clean, room. Lots of choice for breakfast. Wilma and Laurie are delightful hosts. I would happily recommend Little Gem. Thank you for a lovely restful short...

Indeed a little Gem! We were early and called ahead to see if we could leave our stuff. There was no problem because the room was ready for us. We had a warm welcome from our hosts with refreshments provided. Our room was clean and very pretty. The bathroom was bigger than ours at home! Everything you could want for...

Little Gem Guest House is spotlessly clean, has attentive and friendly hosts and provides great cooked breakfasts - all for £65 per night (in May, based on two nights) which we felt was excellent value for money. Parking was easy and short walk to railway where we went on the dining train in the evening. We would recommended.

I was in Swanage with a friend for an event at the Swanage Railway, and was looking for somewhere reasonable to stay, and Little Gem was ideal. It's a five minute walk from the station and town centre, and the twin room we stayed in was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. I was welcomed by Wilma and Lawrie with...
