I once turned up in Swanage without having booked a place to stay, and ended up traipsing around the streets for ages looking for somewhere to stay. This time, I decided to book a few days ahead, and be sure of a bed for the night. I told the proprietor, Lyn, that I would be arriving late. She told me...

Once again a lovely stay at the Limes. Great breakfast which you can eat in the conservatory if you have a dog. Our room with sea view was spacious & comfortable & also spotlessly clean. A very friendly & welcoming hotel & would definitely recommend.

Stayed for a couple of nights last week in August. Super B&B. Excellent breakfasts, really nice bedroom and comfy bed. Short stroll to town centre restaurants and heritage rail station. Lyn is really friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely few days at The Limes. Rooms spacious, well provided, comfortable beds, excellent views. Nice residents' lounge and bar. Breakfast good, and plenty of it. Décor very well kept throughout (oh how we hate tatty hotels!).

Just had 3 enjoyable days at The Limes with our dog. Both Lyn and Declan were very welcoming and made us all feel right at home. Great idea to have a separate area for folks with dogs to eat breakfast away from the other guests. Breakfast was excellent and so was the cosy bar! Thank you for looking after us.

We've just returned from a very enjoyable bank holiday weekend in Swanage staying at the limes. Very well run establishment. Excellent breakfast served early to fit in with our diving. We had a room overlooking the garden. Not huge but adequate with en suite again adequate. Very clean throughout. We would return.

Just back from a lovely long weekend in Swanage, with the family. This was our second stay at The Limes and won't be our last. The Limes is an excellent place to stay, conveniently located a small stride from the beach and town. The owners run a tight ship and that is reflected in the cleanliness of the rooms and...

Fantastically run place. The owners work hard to go the extra mile for their guests. We felt really at home here. Although it is a well kitted out place to bring dogs, the place doesn't smell at all doggy and the rooms are spotless. Loved all the little details... tea and biscuits, fresh milk available all day, little easter eggs...
