We had a medical emergency while staying at the Castleton. Rebecca was really helpful, and went out of her way to help get over the problem, as quickly as possible and with as little fuss as possible. Many thanks for the kindness shown.

Very abrupt welcome on 31st December. Very cold day but NO HEATING in Room 7or house on arrival 4pm. FREEZING!!! Back at 12.45am from New Year's eve celebrations in Swanage NO HEATING in room Bed was FREEZING. January 1st had COLD BUFFET - very poor. 2nd night returned at 10.45pm NO LIGHTS on in porch or hall so climbing up...

wow!! what an amazing B&B. so beautiful and staff are absolutely amazing! rooms are immaculate and spacious and i must admit the best sleep i have had in a while. i could not find one fault and i will be highly recommending this place as well as promising my return! thank you all

Came and stayed here again and I can't fault it! Rooms are lovely and clean. B&B in general is beautiful and staff treat you like family from the first point of contact. I can't wait to return again. Thanks everyone 😊

Me and my partner were looking at places to stay this New Year so I called the Castleton. I began with 'Hello, may I check availability' who which a very rude lady replied 'who is this?!' Her response took me by surprise and it made me doubt I had dialled the correct number. I told the lady my name and...

Having just stayed the weekend at The Castleton, I feel compelled to add my own experience of my visit. Firstly, I agree the reception is not always manned. This caused no problem at all as keys could be collected from the excellent bar and restaurant opposite. The room information also points out a ' ring for service' bell if so...

We arrived early to find no parking spaces as they only have four spaces and ten rooms we had to park in a car park the three days we were their. The hotel only opens every day at four o,clock to book people in and then you do not see anyone until breakfast two young girls. We stayed in room...

We only stayed a couple of nights as we were touring the south coast, but really appreciated the warm welcome, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts and spacious accommodation... a sea view from our room and a 2 minute stroll to the beach. Many thanks

Lovely hotel, relaxed atmosphere, very welcoming hostess and staff, room was very clean,en suite facilities fine, choice of breakfast excellent, bed very comfortable,very enjoyable stay, will be going again.
