This place was unsecured, unsafe and in a terrible state of neglect and uncleanliness. Locals when talking to locals they thought it had already closed down. I have been unable to contact the owner as phone not answered and emails not replied to. This is a con if there ever was

The location of the Bakehouse was perfect / 5 mins from the Abbey and Town centre. The rooms were spacious and clean. Malcom was very friendly and made us very welcome. He cooked a lovely breakfast. Everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

Stayed with my partner and child. Charming quirky place with clean room and comfy beds. Top notch breakfast and a lovely old lab called Charlie who eats the leftovers! Great value, very friendly and would highly recommend

car parkng?
Greetings Malcom. It doesnt have its own parking but there are areas in a short walking distance where there is no parking restrictions. If you are worried about unloading bags etc it appears that there are no angry traffic wardens ready to pounce. Apologies it took me so long to respond. Kind regards
