Stayed with my mum who has alzheimers. It's not a boutique B&B nor a soulless chain hotel but a family home. It was like staying with family friends who couldnt do more to look after us. Great bathroom with flagstone floor, comfy beds, room furnished with interesting and often beautiful antiques, delicious breakfast at kitchen table with other guests. Wonderful...

Great to have found the B&B Bakehouse which is on the same street as my son prep-school. The owners were just a lovely Familly that I really appreciate chatting with during the breakfast. The room is super clean and comfortable and that will be for sure the place where I will stay when visiting Sherborne in the future. Thank you...

We stayed one night at The Bakehouse, visiting nearby friends. We were welcomed by Malcolm the proprietor who went out of his way to help us and make our visit a complete success. There were three of us - my wife, young daughter and I. Our upstairs room was warm and comfortable and honestly a bit quirky too. The place...

I don't think I've ever written a bad review, because I research places carefully and always get it pretty right. But this place was a huge disappointment. For 80 pounds it was a rip-off, frankly - it hurts me to say this, because Malcolm and his wife seemed sincere and pleasant, and I don't like to not be nice....but this...

This is a lovely BnB in a very characterful house. The owners (and their dog!) were very welcoming and friendly. It's very near the Abbey and Sherborne high street. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Stayed for one night. A very nice room and a comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast. All very near the centre of Sherborne but quiet and easy to access. No parking but it's fairly easy to find a spot on the street nearby.

As a resident of Sherborne I for personal reasons stayed at The Bakehouse for a week. I honestly cannot recommend this excellent bed and breakfast more highly. Malcolm the owner is quite simply a really fabulous human being and with his wife and her two sons and the gorgeous Labrador they combine to make The Bakehouse somewhere where the welcome...

We stayed here Saturday night following a family wedding. For £60 for 3 of us we couldn't fault it. Sure, there is room for improvement but the owner appears to be redecorating at present and for £60 inc breakfasts we cannot complain. Wifi, tea/coffee clean comfy beds and a hearty breakfast was all we needed. We received a very warm...

Friendly home from home establishment. I was upgrade from a single to double room. It was at the front of the house near the road which can be a little noisy but didn't bother me and I slept well. The bathroom was large with a large shower. Malcolm and Charlie the dog were very welcoming. Will definitely stay again
