As a resident of Sherborne I for personal reasons stayed at The Bakehouse for a week. I honestly cannot recommend this excellent bed and breakfast more highly. Malcolm the owner is quite simply a really fabulous human being and with his wife and her two sons and the gorgeous Labrador they combine to make The Bakehouse somewhere where the welcome... More

We stayed here Saturday night following a family wedding. For £60 for 3 of us we couldn't fault it. Sure, there is room for improvement but the owner appears to be redecorating at present and for £60 inc breakfasts we cannot complain. Wifi, tea/coffee clean comfy beds and a hearty breakfast was all we needed. We received a very warm... More

Friendly home from home establishment. I was upgrade from a single to double room. It was at the front of the house near the road which can be a little noisy but didn't bother me and I slept well. The bathroom was large with a large shower. Malcolm and Charlie the dog were very welcoming. Will definitely stay again

Really pleased with our choice of b&b in this area. Lovely couple own and run the place, really big room with enormous bathroom. Very clean, found a convenient place to park round the corner. Excellent breakfast and very accommodating with vacation time. All in all, a good nights sle and would recommend this B&b to everyone.

I stayed for two nights at the Bakehouse. Malcolm makes everybody welcome and is a congenial host. The location is only two or three minute walk from the high street and very convenient. The rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is generous with a large selection and the cooked breakfast option is enough to keep you going all day. I would... More
