The Britania us a fabulous place to stay when visiting Sherborne. Parking is a bit of an issue having to park on the road side. The hotel is right in the village near the church Breakfast was lovely with many choices.

The location is fantastic, central to The Abbey and Castle. The food is first class, we eat in the restuarant both nights, The room was clean and spacious. The attention to detail was lovely. We got a two night deal, which was so reasonable, will defiantly will recommend to friends and family.

Stayed here for two nights. Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast and superb Thai meal which is special for Monday evenings. Brilliant location within a short distance from the Abbey and many attractions within a short distance.

This is a really lovely and beautifully situated building - the owners have gone to great lengths to bring out the very best in this very old and beautiful building's character - fireplace, flagstones, lovely bar area, all very well thought out and carefully done. Nothing is too much trouble for the landlord and his staff who go out of...

On a voucher so good value for one nights B&B, very friendly hosts, nice bar and dining room , but we found the loud ,half hourly chimes from the nearby Abbey disturbed us during the night along with the very uncomfortable bed and wafer thin pillows. Bathroom needed a serious clean as grimy around shower door and sink, cobwebs in...

I arrived at this dive 3 minutes after the check in time. Unfortunately head of staff made sure I knew of this, despite the fact he was inebriated. Apparently the customer is always wrong, but I'm sorry for thinking otherwise.

The Thai food was amazing and the food on their regular menu (both fixed price and a la carte) ditto, with the fixed price menu...
