Once again we visited this Country Inn for a weekend break and feel that this time we should share our experience. The food and service was just amazing we were treated like Royalty nothing was too much trouble. Both the lunch time snack and evening meal were amazing. We ate from the specials board having Moules mariniere and a whole...

Hands down the best roast dinner we've ever had. The restaurant, staff and food were all top quality. We had to wait a while for our food but when the wooden board came out with the Chateaubriand came out, followed by all of the accompaniments..it was so worth the wait! Luckily this restaurant is on the doorstep of family members...

An improbably pretty village which we wandered around on a late Autumn afternoon feeling as if Thomas Hardy was only a step away. The Inn has decent rooms, very clean and comfortable with wi fi and flat screened TVs. Good straightforward food [the fish and chips was absolutely excellent] with nicely spaced tables and a friendly but upmarket feel. We...

Attractive country pub in a beautiful village. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. The menu offered a very good choice & there were some nice beers at the bar. We enjoyed our well cooked & attractively presented meals in the very comfortable bar area.

We stayed here overnight on the way back from Devon to London. It's in a pretty (and quiet) village in the middle of nowhere (but very well signposted from the A37 southbound) about halfway between Yeovil and Dorchester. The accommodation was very comfortable, with rooms named after the property owners' dogs; the food, both dinner and breakfast, was excellent. The...
