We were blown away when we arrived at this beautiful hotel on the east cliff, what a hidden gem this place is. The room was perfect, the staff friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was amazing. OMG what ever you do try this place, it's in the top five of the most historic hotels we have stayed in and although three... More

The hotel has been built in mock Tudor style and is full of wood panelling and dark wood. This does tend to make the rooms rather dark, but as they are clean and comfortable gives a relaxing stay. Breakfast can be slow as the room is quite small and if fully occupied service takes some time. Food is good with... More

3 of us stayed In a family room. First thing we all said was "wow" .Room was spacious for the 3 of us, lovely and clean, big t.v and nice views over the garden. Bathroom was small but fine with a good shower. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good. Not a big plate of food but everything was cooked well.... More

Firstly Must say Great location for beach and town centre. The negatives 1. Bar only open till 8pm when most people want to sit and relax with a drink 2. On arrival not even a tea bag in the room and insufficient sugar, Had to go and ask on the second day for more milk and tea bags (yes got... More

Upon arrival my partner and I had to pick our jaws from the ground. This hotel is absolutely stunning! The exterior is breathtaking, and the interior has been kept to its true historic heritage. The hotel is clean and well maintained, and our room was spotless. Our room overlooked the road, but even with the windows opened, nothing could disturb... More

I love this little hotel. The breakfast is ok, and can get a little busy and therefore staff get rushed off their feet and things can take a while - not ideal when you have stuff to get on with that day and just need to get going. The cold buffet is really not that great, the hot breakfast is... More

Although check in is advertised as between 3pm and 8pm, I received a phone call on the morning we were leaving from them saying someone would be there from 2.45pm. However, we had to wait in the car for 15 mins as no-one was there at 2.45pm. Our room (triple) was lovely (although a cobweb brush might be handy!). Also,... More

if you think you are going to a Hotel with staff available to assist in anything you won't find it here. Even after leaving I still have mixed feelings towards this place. When we did get through to any of the staff they where helpful all be it that on one occasion I had to call 20times before I got through to someone. The shower in the lodge is very low and my partner being over 6 foot had difficulty showering... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Tudor Grange is a beautiful historic hotel set in secluded gardens on Bournemouth's East Cliff, England's premier resort. There are ten en-suite rooms and one self-catering cottage; the Tudor Lodge. The hotel rooms include a romantic four poster honeymoon suite with balcony, deluxe double rooms, twin rooms and double rooms which offer single occupancy. All rooms are en-suite and have digital televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and free high speed Wifi. The Tudor Lodge is available for self-catering accommodation for up to three guests and is fully equipped with kitchen, dining and lounge areas. The hotel accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis, which includes a full English breakfast cooked to order and a fresh buffet table with cereals, fruits, yoghurt, milk and fruit juices. The hotel has a fully licensed bar, free car parking and beautiful secluded front gardens that provide the feel of a country house by the sea. Bournemouth town center is a pleasant five to ten minute walk along the sea front, which is just a two minute stroll from the hotel. The Tudor Grange Hotel does not accept bookings with children under the age of twelve. If you are looking for a relaxed or romantic getaway, this is the perfect place for a weekend to remember. The Tudor Grange is a family run hotel and has been with it's current owners since 2006, who have been running a continual improvement programme throughout. All ten rooms have now been completely refurbished including all en-suites, with individual styling and charm. In 2011 based on customer feedback the family adopted a new management system including a change of staff and job roles which has enabled us to offer greater customer service to all our guests. The Tudor grange not only provides bed and breakfast but is also a fantastic and exclusive wedding venue. Whilst we do our best to avoid non-wedding guests being disturbed by weddings, we do advise that travelers particularly looking for a quiet get away enquire at time of booking if a wedding is taking place when they wish to stay. ... more   less
