We’d been given a one night B&B voucher as a present, this hotel wasn’t our first choice but was recommended by the first, as they no longer operated the voucher scheme, and we weren’t disappointed. The hotel is in the Boscombe end of town on the main road into Bournemouth centre but set far back enough in its front garden...

The staff are very friendly and attentive but not too forward which was nice. The place is extremely clean, tidy and peaceful. The room was spacious, very comfortable and homely. Breakfast was nice and fresh but also had a lot of variety for all different dietary requirements. Only thing that could be improved is that the hot water takes a...

Had a one night stay hear on Easter Monday. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Adults only so it was very quiet even though it's on a busy road. Very clean room and a free Easter egg which was a nice touch.

The Balincourt is a very charming, quiet and pleasant hotel, in walking distance from the city centre (app. 10 -15 mins). The rooms are comfy and tidy. Good breakfast, easy access and free parking. Highly recommend it.

Felt that I had to write a review of this wonderful establishment. Stayed for one night on our way to the New Forest. Room was spotless and spacious, with ample supplies of tea, coffee and biscuits. The breakfast was superb with lots of choices. The car park was large and easily accessible and the beach front a mere 10 minute...

My wife and I had a 2 night stay here last weekend, would love to give this place a 5 star rating but due to a couple of issues this is not going to happen. 1st issue.... room 14 for us the bed was way way too hard, don't get me wrong some people may like it that way, but...

We have read your comments in detail and are sorry that your stay with us was not entirely to your satisfaction. We have taken appropriate steps to address the points you have raised. Whilst the hardness of the bed is, as you say, a matter of personal preference, your experience with the shower and with our breakfast that morning did...

We recently had a two night stay here. We had tickets for the O2 Academy and it took 10 minutes to walk there from our guest house. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Lots of tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. Spacious en suite. Staff were very welcoming and our breakfasts were very, very good. We spent our days...

We booked the Balincourt after receiving a gift voucher for a night away. We upgraded to a superior room and it was lovely. Huge comfy bed, lively and warm, lots of nice touches like bottled water, mints and the usual tea/coffee facilities but a decent selection with biscuits. The breakfast was excellent- freshly cooked and hot rather than the lukewarm...
