We needed an overnight stay to catch a ferry and this hotel fitted the bill. Reasonable price, no breakfast, but we didn't want it anyway. Clean and tidy with particularly pleasant and helpful staff. Free parking right outside the door and only a few yards from a glorious sea view.

We only stayed here one night, but picked this hotel based on location and price. The hotel is very close to the seafront and about a 15 minute walk to the pier. Note however that it is a downhill walk to the pier and hence an up hill walk back. The room I had contained a double bed and a...

Booked two rooms. One for my husband and me plus dog. Another for my mother. As hotel was quiet our rooms were upgraded to larger with sea views free of charge. Rooms were warm, spacious and adequately furnished. Ensuites were good with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was continental only until March. No complaints about quantity or quality of breakfast, just...

Arrived to a friendly welcome. Upgraded to a double room from a twin since I was a single traveller for no extra cost. Room was clean, comfortable and very good value. Good facilities, shower and bathroom well equipped. Location brilliant for the beach and international centre. Actually can't fault it for the price I paid

Stayed a night in one of the double rooms on the first floor. Unfortunately, the experience was not good. Though the room appeared recently decorated, the basic standard of cleanliness was very poor. The duvet was seriously stained, the shower curtain covered in mould, empty containers had been left by the previous occupant, the carpet had not been hovered, etc....

We booked this hotel last minute and it cost about £60. We stayed here for 1 night as we were going to the BIC which was about a 5 minute walk away so very ideal. The hotel and room was clean but very outdated. The service provided was great tho. The negatives we have was the size of the room...

Stayed here for 1 night for a midweek concert at BIC. This is a budget B&B, you get what you pay for and on that note I would take any criticisms with a pinch of salt. Pillows - poor, mattress - poor, these things could be improved upon but would probably add to the price of the stay. Tea making...

We stayed 2 nights at TravelRest whilst visiting friends. The hotel is pleasant & clean enough although very dated and in need of refurbishment. We had a family room with one double and one single bed. The double bed was the smallest we've ever seen with even smaller covers, and very uncomfortable. We were sleeping with various limbs not in the...

A friend and I had a room there on a Saturday night in order to spend the weekend catching up. Read on the website they had some refurbished rooms and were really surprised when the cost of our room was only £39 for the night, although not including breakfast. But alas, we had an old room, in need of refurbishment,...
