The hotel was cheap, £80 for 2 nights with no food . Didn't expect much and we weren't disappointed! It's very shabby inside, but it's ok for the money, the bed was comfy at least. The whole place is very very 70/80s decor, but you know for the money it was ok. Not 4 star and God knows how they...

First and foremost it has to be remembered that the hotel is an old building, it's past its best and would benefit from an overhaul. Pro's: good location for restaurants, bars and the beaches/ pier. Friendly staff including the girl looking after the breakfasts and those on reception. Con's: the stairs squeak, the landings squeak, the bedroom floors squeak, the...

Stayed here for 1 night at a cost of £145. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. In desperate need of a full refurbishment. The furniture and fittings are very dated. On a positive note staff were nice and polite.

Stayed one night here and not impressed. Room very dated and bathroom poor. Shower was pointless as was just hose on taps and half way on wall. No curtain or holder so you could not stand under the dribble that came out. Reception staff not friendly either. Would not recommend or stay here again. Much better places available. Owner needs...

Stayed 1 Friday night. Decent location to access all that Bournemouth has to offer. Chap at reception on arrival was a bit grumpy and lady on reception a little later didn't seem to know what a champagne ice bucket was. But as a cheaper alternative to a Travelodge / PremierInn one cannot complain too loudly. The room was spacious (although...

I could waffle on for ages but i won't. The pool is no longer heated, had leaves in it, when last cleaned no body knows. The hotel interior paint work was tired and dulled. The bed had a board under it, why? Probably cause the bed was broken. Cracked tiles in the bathroom. No shower curtain. Shower was the height...

Shower did not work-tiny trickle. Left after first night as room not made up by chamber maids, dirty. Manager would not give refund of second night, the most vile person I've ever come across. Please don't go there you'll be very disappointed. Payment was taken prior arrival. No atmosphere, no staff. Would not wish this on anyone

After a period of several months I returned to this Hotel which I have visited many times. in previous years. I was pleased to find the same welcome awaited me as before and the attention I received was excellent. This particularly as I describe myself as 'older'. This made for a very comfortable stay.. I thought the menu had, if...
