I highly recommend this place. We stayed four nights from Monday to Thursday. We arrived early on Monday and the restaurant was closed at that time. So they offered us coffee for free. The staff are so friendly and very eager to please. The location is brilliant as it is so close to the beach and all the shops. The... More

had an amazing experience, firstly its what a minute from sea front which is a massive bonus, you come out walk down and there it is, I could see the beach and sea from my room, so the room was lovely the bathroom was a nice size comfy beds. the hallways are large and make old creaky sounds which to... Although the food and the service was first class sadly the room left a lot to be desired. The floorboards were the noisiest I have ever come across. Everywhere you walked, the floor creaked, in spite of the thick carpets, you could even hear when people were walking about in adjoining rooms! The beds were too hard for my preference and... More

Lovely to stay in this individual style, older hotel. Makes a change from uniform modern hotels. We had a lovely big room with spacious bathroom. Cocktail hour was entertaining, good value and good fun. Extensive and well cooked breakfast. The hotel is in good location only few minutes walk from beach and town centre shops. All staff were friendly and... More

Out 3rd time here in three years and it's just as good every single time. It has a quality restaurant, an amazing cocktail bar with live music and a nightclub. All part of the hotel. The staff are helpful and very friendly and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. It might not be 5 star but what more could you... More

Excellent customer service when we arrived and throughout our stay from all members of staff which is a rare find and definitely makes us want to go back. The room was large the bed extremely comfortable and added bonus a jacuzzi in the bath. The hotel was extremely clean and looked as if recently been decorated as very modern decor.... More

1) Access to the Hotel is poor. You need to negotiate a tricky roundabout and then come directly off the roundabout into a hidden car park. Beware!!! There is only one poorly sited sign. 2) A late private booking of live entertainment on a Sunday night was horrendous. A phone call was given warning me that the Hotel had taken... More

Never stayed here before but the welcoming arrival and friendliness of staff was brilliant. The receptionists were very helpful I knew our room number off by heart every time we went to get our key making us feel special. The room was big and very clean. Looking forward to rebooking for next year.

Upon arrival was greeted by two polite young girls on reception. Swift and easy check in. Also got a welcome from a member of staff on the stairs. The building is old so the decor is dark with wood panelling and dark walls. With any building of this age it does suffer from squeaky floorboards. But it is perfectly presented... More

Really pleased with the stay at this traditional hotel. Clean, well presented. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Staff were very obliging. Would certainly use again. Across the road from the BIC. Close to bus stops, beach a few minutes away.
