My wife and I stayed one night at Marlins on 4th January 2012. It is very centrally located near to the sea front, BIC and the shopping area. We were met by Neil who was very friendly and helpful. The double room was en-suite, reasonably sized, very clean and had a very comfortable double bed. The full English breakfast was...

Myself and my girlfriend had a really enjoyable stay at Marlins. The location is really convenient, on the West Cliff so close to the beach and a few mins walk from town. The room was really good, bed comfy, modern and very clean. The owner was really helpful and friendly and breakfast was good quality. I would definitely recommend Marlins,...

My (now) husband was sent to work in Poole, originally for a few weeks, necessitating hotel accommodation during the week and after staying in several of the big chain hotels in Bournemouth and Sandbanks, found his way to the Marlins, via laterooms.com after several shocking experiences at supposedly 5 star hotels and much higher nightly room rates. He was so...

This was my third stay at Marlins, my previous visits having been with my girlfriend. This time I was travelling alone so booked the small single room (viewed on my last visit) as a cheaper option whilst working locally. The room is advertised very honestly as being small but is also as clean and comfortable as the other rooms. The...

Our second visit to Marlins. Just as spotlessly clean, quiet and friendly. Why go anywhere else when in Bournemouth ?

Stayed here for nephew's graduation. The welcome was very friendly and easy-going - Neil took everything in his stride (arrived early, had loads of questions, but he gave us all the time we needed). The hotel is ideally located for everything in Bournemouth - BIC, seafront, gardens, shops. It's a very FRIENDLY hotel, warm, comfortable. The rooms are well furnished,...

Booked a very last minute room at Marlins due to an unexpected change of work location. Neil was very helpful and kindly offered to extend check-in hours as he knew I was travelling from London. The room itself was a good size and came with all the usual amenities including kettle, hairdryer, fresh towels and shower gels etc. for use...

Great location, just 2 Min from BIC. Our room was no.1 with a view of the small courtyard garden. Small but well furnished. Bathroom bright and modern. Breakfast was well cooked and presented. Vegetarian option good. This is a small, friendly and well run hotel in a great position. Can't fault it and why would we want to. Would definitely...

We stayed two nights. The hotel location was ideal, close to the beach, restaurants and town. The room was very nicely decorated and everywhere was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great. We were made to feel very welcome and would want to stay again next time we visit Bournemouth
