The wallpaper was peeling off the bedroom wall, the bed against the wall when you get out of the bed either via the bottom of it or climb over your partner. The telly not working properly, No waitress service in the restaurant, no one behind the bar had to ask for bar service. The key card to access the rooms... More

Nice location, just about 10 minutes walk from Boscombe beach. Hotel just average - good food, but poor restaurant and bar staff. Poor receptionist - not smiling, not friendly, they didn't give us any information about breakfast time, dinner time, about leisure opening time. Room has been clean, but to small and with dirty wall.

I am sure this place has more to offer but on a 1 night stay it is not the best. Our room had no windows and was to close to the common areas so with people talking, laughing and singing till 02:00 you can not get much sleep. This all topped off with the extremely hot room was almost impossible... More

My husband and I had booked to stay in this hotel as there was a Salsa convention taking place and we liked the idea of staying actually in the place where the dancing was going to be. It wasn’t particularly cheap £130 .00 for one night. We arrived about 1pm on Friday afternoon and lugged our luggage to reception. As... More

2 adults and 3 kids (5,2 and 2) in a big family room for two nights. Wanted somewhere cheap for a short notice break during the school hols. Certainly doesn't warrant the 3 star rating. At most it gets 2 stars and that only if it was given a thorough deep clean. Staff were OK with us. The inclusive breakfast... More

Nothing worse than other people's hair being left in the bath when you go to a hotel in my opinion. Generally the hotel seems a little grubby. Expected better for the price we paid. The bar man was very grumpy & shut the bar before the advertised time. Not somewhere we will stay again. The lady on reception when we... More

We stayed here for one night as a family as it was one of the only hotels available. It is outdated and needs renovating. The parking is a shambles. The room was very hot and there was only a top fanlight window but as we were on the ground floor we weren't keen to use this. There was a fan... More

Don't go near this place. The hotel is dirty and scruffy. Staff are horrible. And not one bit helpful. When we finally got to are family room on the third floor (after going in two lifts God help you if you got small kids) the room was a disgrace. Not even cleaned. The door couldn't Lock. The beds were stained... More

On arrival female receptionist very off and curt, once you get past reception you can see how tired and dilapidated this note is which is just like all the other Britannia hotels in Bournemouth. No direction to rooms, tiny lifts, misleading corridors, difficult route to family rooms (who would have no luggage) no offer at reception to get luggage to... More
