Bargain place at £ 22 . 10 mins walk from the legendary cellar bar. Clean, comfy beds, plush reception area . Can't fault it, especially at this price bit of a labyrinth getting around the place would b the only minor gripe

Stayed in the Carrington house many times and for the price never usual have any complaints but this time has to be the worse stay to date. Stay away from Room 0151. It is on the corner of the main corridor of the Frome wing so you hear everyone coming and going as well as talking all night as they...

Stayed here for two nights and regretted it after checking in. The whole place needs a Hugh amount of decorating. My room was large and situated at the back of the hotel. The toilet roll holder fell off , the toilet could never flush. The plastic bath mat was dirty. During the night, you could hear the staff leave the...

Spontaneous weekend away booked on booking.com. Worked out £51 for 2 nights for the 2 of us. Very spacious clean & tidy rooms with comfy tub chairs & bed. Decor wasn't amazing but we were very pleased with it for the price.

Just got back from the Carrington. Bit tired in places and the tap was broke in my room. Staff great and helpful. What more could you want for £23 a night. Close to the town centre so perfect for all.

We returned again for the New Year Party, we were a bit worried as they say you should not return. No problem just as good as last year. Manager and all the staff so helpful, a terrific party to see the new year in. Thankyou.

Went for a few days in between Xmas and new year. Clean warm and comfortable room. Shower wasn't very goon other that hot or powerful , that was the only negative. Breakfast and evening meal was nice. Always something to eat. I would stay here again.

Having read some of the reports, I was a little apprehensive before the visit. In reality, needn't have worried. Yes, the property does need some modernisation, but have stayed in worse. The staff were excellent and the new year celebrations were good, although the disco was a bit of a let down. The food was good and plentiful, considering the...
