Fabulous location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with everything we needed, large choice at breakfast, great leisure area, hammam, sauna, pool & jacuzzi. I would definitively return in this hotel next time and do recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel during a 4 day visit for a wedding. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (even to some visibly rude guests) and the hotel was lovely, our room looked out over the garden and onto the town centre church, and had a huge bathroom. Breakfast was very good and available until 11am. The only...

Fab location, wonderful staff and a very nice room. There was a lot of choice at breakfast and we had no issues with our 2 night stay. Both check in and check out were quick and stress-free. Our room had everything we needed.

I stayed for eleven nights in a very comfortable single room. I had stayed at this hotel some years ago, and it seemed to be much busier now. The breakfast choice was excellent, the only downside was that on some days some elements ( particularly the bacon and fried eggs ) were not as hot as they should have been...

Definitely in my opinion not AA4 Star. More like 3. I had great trouble with sash windows in my room - in fact I still have pulled muscles 4 days later! The room was far, far too hot. Not enough staff at breakfast.

The hotel is out of date and does not deserve 4 stars! Even the manager agreed on the state our room was and did not even offer a refund or another room. Dents accross the walls, overfilled with furniture. Tv had 4 channels on a 19th century tv, even though they advertise satalite in every room. My pregnant wife didnt...

Very nice classic hotel with pool facilities and a good bar. Staff really helpful and rooms very clean and spacious. Only downside was the shower which was barely a trickle of water... Rooms also very hot and no air con but we did visit in height of summer and staff provided a probable fan on request.

Ours was a last minute booking, so only a small double was available. However the room was large and comfortable with a very well nice bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. Location was good for us, easy access to the main roads and a relatively short walk to the...

Before I start, I must say that when we complained the day after to the duty manager he was most apologetic and offered us a partial refund. This is supposed to be a four star hotel, but compared to afternoon tea at Chewton Glen which is also a four star, it's like comparing the Ritz to McDonalds. We had booked...
