This hotel is somewhat tired, when I arrived the lift was not working and I was staying on the top floor so was required to cart my case upstairs. The facilities are very tired and the room was a nice size yet the furniture was old and worn, resembling that of a student bedroom with mismatched items, and it had... More

I stayed overnight on the 12/8/16. Never again ! A small boiling hot room, a TV with no remote and hidden charges when we booked in, ensure that that place will never be booked again. There was a tiny desk fan in the room which did little to stir the hot air. The room was like an oven with a... More

We stayed at The Queens for a golf trip. The hotel is badly in need of a serious makeover. The breakfast needs improving. However, the staff were fantastic and saved the day. Wonderfully efficient and friendly, they couldn't do enough for you.

The staff very helpful. The food delicious with plenty of choices. Our room was spacious but the bathroom a little tired. It was all very clean. An excellent dance floor. A short walk to the beach and less than 15 mins into town centre. They have car parking but first come first served.

Dear Helen J Thank you for taking the time to review your recent visit. I am so pleased you had an enjoyable stay and had fun dancing. We were lucky to have had so many excellent dancers recently, which has been lovely to see. I hope to be able to welcome you again in the future. Yours sincerely Daniel More

We were expecting a warm room as it was 18 degrees outside when we arrive late evening. But we were shocked to discover the bedroom itself was 26 degrees. Totally unbearable! By putting up three fans we were just about able to get a terrible nights sleep. The big worry was my 3 month old baby. Well outside the safety... More

This is not a particularly nice review to read, DaveSwin. For a young man who spends so much of his time contributing to Trip Advisor I felt that rather than use words like ‘hell’ and ‘hole’ I could have learnt more about the visit. I hope to have the opportunity of discussing this further: daniel@queenshotelbournemouth.com and discovering what bedroom was... More

Stayed here for a couple of days. Requested a room that would avoid lots of stairs as I have a painful knee, was given a 'disabled,' room on 2nd floor by lift room 228. Windows faced building works there are no net curtains so have to close the Blackout curtains for privacy. The bathroom is large as a wet room... More

Dear londonbred Thank you so much for taking the time to review your recent visit. We don’t have any bedrooms on the ground floor, and our two purpose built disabled access bedrooms are close to the lift on the first and second floors. After much use, at busy times, the sauna will reset as a safety measure. It is working... More

We weren't staying at the hotel; we did enjoy the evening meal - staff were attentive and the meal enjoyable, lovely and tasty - well cooked; dealing with our dietary requirements without any problems; only one vegetarian main course.

Photos on trip advisor are way better than the real thing. May be they updated some suites but the reception, corridors and elevators are very old and shabby. No AC in the rooms, gets really hot and there's no air flow at all even with windows opened. Shower is super old and basic and cabin has a curtain, water barely... More

We arrived Friday evening, to find an array of dirty plates, with leftover food in the corridor outside our room. Understandably there was a wedding party taking place, but out first impressions were poor. The room, was very shabby and dated, the window was falling off its hinges, and the toilet continually overflowed. However, the reception staff were very friendly.

I am sorry ceri b that the corridors were not at the right standard on arrival. With room service orders we kindly request that when our guests wish for their trays to be cleared they notify us. We also check the floors regularly for food brought into the hotel, finished and left outside the bedroom. If you are able to... More
