Our party of 46 all stayed in the hotel for two nights. I shared a twin room with a friend. although carpets around the upper floors were very worn, and the decor was tired, everywhere was clean. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Evening

Dear Jan T May I say how nice all of your party were. All the ladies were so nice to us, they were a pure delight to have them stay with us. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us and share with others. I know not everyone likes us as we are a traditional style of place and not full of all mod cons, but its so nice when we get people who appreciate neat clean and tidy, some good food and polite friendly service. Thank you, please tell the ladies they are welcome back any time they want.

Fawlty Towers remake. Needs serious refurb. Effort made here and there but still very tired. Scary radiators. Paper hanging off wall in reception. Sporadic stains, scuffs and god knows what. Clean fresh linen.

Dear jet741275 I am so sorry we are not to your taste, very clearly you like a lot more modern style of hotel. Unfortunately we are not this. It is very clear that you prefer to wander around looking for issues, than enjoying the lovely sunny Easter Weekend. Sorry we are not perfect, If you want 5 star, it costs more... not less.

I stayed here with my partner this weekend. 'Fine' definitely sums it up. The bed was ok (2 single beds pushed together), bathroom was ok, breakfast was ok, generally all ok. However, the radiator was stuck on full blast, which meant we had to have the window open all night so

Dear Jb444444 I am really sorry to hear about your accident, and I hope that you are on the road to recovery. I will of course be speaking to the receptionist concerned, and also will get signage put up to warn other people about the heat of the towel rail. I will also get our maintenance man to see if it can be turned down any to make it safer. Thank you for your feedback on your stay with us, it is gratefully received as we wish to try and improve for the future.

Dear Travels 1989 Thank you for your some what biased review. Any room with more than one bed in, would be suitable for a family (depending on the size of the family)? How many people did you book it for? Your description of the bath panel hanging off, is not really reflected in the picture you have sent to go along side it. What it shows is one end of the panel popped out ( very easily taken out, if someone wanted to). Sorry you do not like our staff, its funny but so many guests say how good they are even people that complain about the hotel say the same. I do feel that you would have liked a more modern hotel, rather than an older traditional one like us. Sorry you did not like us.
