The staff couldn't be more helpful. I have been back several times and the same familiar faces are still there. The breakfast is terrific, and the chap who runs the restaurant at breakfast makes the whole experience a pleasure. Nothing is too much trouble.

A really comfortable and massive bed. I have never seen such a wide bed. The breakfast was delicious with ample coffe and tea and toast. A nice seating area in reception by a lovely warm fire to sit and read the papers The pool was nice and relaxing though could have been slightly warmer, with a nice sauna, steam room... More

My thanks goes to all the wonderful staff,DJ and to Simon, for the great 80's themed party that we attended last night to celebrate my daughters 40th birthday. The food was very very good, the service was quick and courteous. The Connaught is a lovely hotel and dressed for Xmas it looked great. I will certainly return to sample what else... More

Travelled to Bournemouth to see a show at the BIC. The hotel is perfectly located a short walk from the BIC, beach and town. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and efficient. Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet, with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The only criticism I would make is that the bathroom... More

Very nice Hotel and very attentive staff, situated only a five minute walk to the pier, and the Winter Gardens, plenty to do lots of stalls, coffee shops and bars, ice skating if you are brave enough,or a visit to the Pavilion Theatre

I paid a bit extra for a superior room but honestly have to say it was not worth it. The room was very small, the grout in the shower was mouldy in places and there was a lack of basics such as a shower cap, shampoo and conditioner. Not many parking spaces available. I would not recommend this hotel for... More

Overall a very good hotel for the money. Located close to all the amenities we required. 5 to 10 minute walk into the towns shopping area and the BIC. The one criticism we did have was that the bathroom in our room was tired so could do with a refurb.

The hotel was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Lily Room, and have to say, it was wonderful. We eat in the hotel and I tell you, it was first class. Blakes Restaurant or the Brasserie are good. Good choice for breakfast as well.
