I had a one day business trip and chose the Ashleigh based on its central location which is close to town and the train station as I had never been to Bournemouth before. I found the room and the bathroom were clean with fresh towels and linen. There was plenty of hot water and I really can not complain about... More

.. but our greeting at Ashleigh was bright and sunny. Handily located for the station/buses/town/beach - plenty of eateries within walking distance. Well comfy bed and reasonably quiet considering the road outside. Clean and serviceable en-suite + tea/coffee iron/board hair dryer in-room wifi - the little extras that make weekends away so much easier. Great little budget B&B

We stayed for two nights and overall it was a nice stay. The lady owner was lovely and helped us with anything we needed. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our bags in the lounge, which had been taken up to our room when we came back a few hours later. The room was very clean and quiet,... More

Found this hotel on laterooms but booked directly with them as we wanted to take a 2 year old with us in a double room. No problem. Hotel was great. Our room (garden room) was lovely. Very clean and spacious. The owners were also very attentive. Breakfast was really good even though we were a little late! Very close to... More

Although this review will obviously be denied by the owners and I will be told that I have 'got the wrong hotel' or that I'm just being unreasonable, (see all previous negative comments) there can be no doubt that this place is massively over-priced. I'm sorry to be a little critical, but this is London prices in a shabby area... More

Well as normal I shall answer the review with the blanks filled in!, then it is down to the public to make up their own minds. Every thing fine for your stay when we took in a large delivery for you, stored same for collection when you left, and whilst using the garden with access direct from your room etc... More

My son and I stayed in a twin room while we came for a uni open day. Easy to find, very close to the travel interchange. They were happy for us to arrive early to drop off bags (very accommodating). Room was lovely and clean with en suite shower. Tea and coffee in room. Iron and board on the landing.... More

Thank you for taking the time to do this, with so many customers each week all happy most just come back, not thinking to leave a review, unfortunately it is a forum which people use if they have an axe to grind as it is impersonal. We always try to answer the reviews with all the facts and hold our... More

We stayed at The Ashleigh for 3 nights, and it was fabulous! We were greeted by the very friendly lady owner and showed to our double room, it was a good size and very clean. The bed was huge! Perfect for me, my husband and my 2 year old! :) Thank you The Ashleigh. If we ever return to Bournemouth... More

Thank you for this we do try to get it right but as you can see from another review even if the guest ignores our terms and conditions and cancel, it is stil our fault! This is why when people take the time to leave a review instead of just rebooking as most do, it helps to show people who... More

I found the Ashleigh hotel like a cheap Blackpool bnb And found the owner a bit cocky and flash!! We will not stay here again as to commercial and they just want your money..no customer care. Breakfast was cheap food very commercial...I'd advise people to steer clear

So "three in a bed" on tv and then we get this review, with comments the same wording as one of the losing competitors, unfortunately for you the fact since last summer we have stopped offering breakfast puts quite a large hole in the merits of the review, and also in one of your other reviews (bad) you mention the...
