We have stayed at the woodlands before and booked a room for me my wife and granddaughter at the end of the summer 2015 for the 2016 air show, all looking forward to it. When we booked they told us there was not a diary but not to worry it would be a firm booking, a couple of months later... More

Retrospective Review. I stayed here in the autumn and had a single room with shared facilities. However, due to the time of year, there were fewer guests and I had the facilities to myself. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was excellent, too.

My husband and I stayed at The Woodlands Guest House in September of 2015 while in Bournemouth on business. When we entered The Woodlands, we were cordially greeted by Sandra, a lovely woman with a beautiful smile. She was friendly, helped us with our luggage, gave us a tour of the immaculately clean house and showed us to our room.... More

Warm welcome. Service very good and attentive. Friendly comfortable environment. Spotless. Garden was well maintained. Good location, 10min walk to Boscombe pier. Bournemouth pier only 30 mins walk away. Old style hotel but quirky. Great place to stay. Would visit again.

The B&B is located in a nice, quiet area of Boscombe, Bournemouth. A very typical old-style B&B that has both rooms with ensuite bathrooms and rooms with shared bathrooms. We stayed in a very nicely furnished en suite room with front garden (a very nice one as well) view. The bed was extra comfortable, the bathroom with a shower was... More

Returning back to Bournemouth after a couple of years. We were looking around for a hotel to stay in and once we come across this hotel, as we first entered the door we felt welcomed and so homely that the manager of the hotel Sandra, her continuously smiling put a smile on our face. She helped us through all our... More

Arrived to a very welcoming and friendly Sandra, shown to our very nice Room number 2 followed by a nice cup of tea in the lounge. We were here with friends and were attending a gig at the O2 Academy and was in an ideal location for us. Slept well, followed by a good value full english breakfast which was... More

What can I say? My weekend stay at the Woodlands was perfection from start to finish. So very very pleasant in every way from the welcoming tray of tea to the offer to carry my bag down, and the chance to have early breakfasts when I wanted. Also a mine of information on the area and help with taxi numbers.... More

The proprietor, Sandra, was very helpful, friendly and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Our party included two invalid ladies and their comfort was priority and Sandra made their visit a most enjoyable one. Our rooms were clean, well decorated with comfy beds and good facilities. My husband and I went to stay for three nights recently and Sandra, the owner, could not have been more welcoming, even upgrading our room on arrival. Our room was bright, airy and clean and the bed very comfortable. The weather was on the cool side but the room was cosy and good heating meant we were neither too hot... More
