The location of the property is excellent, 10 min drive to Bournemouth and 2min walk to the beach. It was excellent views of the coast. The hotel and pub staff were very friendly and eager to assist in anyway they can. The pub had excellent food and a great choice and there was live music on the Saturday night. The... More

Only stayed one night but chose it for its unique location. Friendly and quick check in and check out, clean rooms with all the usual amenities as advertised. It was a cheap and cheerful place to stay with lots of character.

I arrived with my confirmation email to find they had no record of my booking. They tried to blame the booking website, saying "They should have known we had no rooms available" - I'm sceptical about this as I booked 7 months in advance. The setup does not inspire confidence, there's no office or reception, it's just a desktop at... More

Beautiful decor inside this cliff top pub. Very good value food and a lovely pint! Very family friendly. Well worth a visit. Had a very relaxing Sunday afternoon sat in the beer garden while the children played. Wanted to take some of the furniture home!!

I miss the orzo pasta dish that was on the menu last summer! Food reasonable and good choice of drinks. Would like to see some pasta dishes for both adults and kids. The daytime lunch menu is a bit limited and lacks variety. Very meat/burger focused. Otherwise pleasant enough.

Busy afternoon but not enough staff on for busy August weekend, we ordered food that didn't arrive with everything as per menu and no one came to check on us. Mussels were really over cooked and food quite overpriced. Food was not the quality I would expect at all.

Unimpressive that the reception is at the side of the bar in the pub area and it takes a while to get noticed and served. I paid £129 for the night and was then astonished to find that this B&B charges extra for the breakfast on top of this high fee. The room was fairly basic, there was some strange... More

We come to this pub every time we come down to Bournemouth food is nice staff are pleasant drinks are not expensive & it's even better when you can sit outside in the sunshine. Definitely recommend to others & it's also ideal for you to bring your dogs with plenty of drinking bowls availabile for them

Just finished my steak and sweet potato fries and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff work hard and helpful. Always dine here on a evening, as variety of food. Opposite the sea cliff, easy to reach. Has accommodation also.

I stayed in the spyglass and kettle last night with my daughter. Our 1st ever weekend away just the 2 of us. We arrived having booked a family room which was dark, decor was terrible with 'wallpaper' coming off the ceiling after an apparent leak..which still hasn't been rectified. My daughter slept in my bed instead of her own as... More
