We stayed in this welcoming family run hotel recently with four friends for two nights, and each of our rooms were clean and comfortable with a decent en suite. Carl, the bar manager, was friendly and helpful too with his knowledge of the area for the best places to eat. We enjoyed a good breakfast in the pleasant dining room,...

Dear Andrew, Thank you for taking the trouble to put on a good review for us - we were sorry to see you go as well but realised that you needed longer term accommodation and we are fully booked for various dates in March. Please do remember us if you have to stay in Bournemouth in the future. Sandy and...

My friends and I have just left this brilliant little hotel. There was a group of 16 of us staying for a stag do and I couldn't recommend this place enough. The owners were lovely and were very accommodating. The main man, Karl, was a top, top bloke. The drinks in the bar were very cheap and perfect before heading...

This hotel is geared up for Stag parties and does it well. I wouldn't stay here unless you like that vibe. Rooms are often multiple occupancy - I stayed in a four person room. Bring ear plugs! Also some others complained of light coming in. I don't mind that, but if you do bring a eye shield. Clean sheets and...

Brilliant location, standard rooms which are clean. Parking is pretty horrendous if you have a large van or vehicle as there is only a very small car park at the rear. I didn't get chance to sample breakfast as I got sent over the road in the rain. Even though area was very quiet all morning, I couldn't be accommodated...

While Mount Stuart is well located in West Bournemouth, it is no longer a fashionable place for those who prefer their creature comforts. Instead it has become a mecca for stag and hens groups. My wife and I booked at short notice a room allegedly having one double and one single bed with appropriate furniture. Instead, we found ourselves in...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your mixed review. I would like to clarify that you had booked a Triple en suite with 3 single beds via a popular on line booking agent - so I am not sure why you were expecting a Double and single bed when this had not been requested or booked - had you let us...

For's : ideal spot for the beach, very quiet area, great host, Karl is very pleasant, place was kept clean. Apart from the odd door slam and creaky floors there was no real disruption, you could sleep right through if you wanted. Against: picked this hotel as it had parking. No where did it mention there was a £5 a...
