Upon deciding to come back to Torquay for our holiday we had no doubt where we wanted to stay. The Abbeyfield Hotel. We booked for four nights and had the same room as usual - the ground floor room with amazingly comfortable big bed. The rooms are so light and bright and make us feel in 'holiday' mode and really...

Just stayed 2 nights at this great B&B. Deluxe King Room - fantastic. Hotel was spotless, Rooms were great. Friendliest hosts we have ever had. Breakfast was excellent. Quiet location, just a short stroll to main area, very relaxing. Didn't realise how much there was to do in this neck of the woods!. Will be heading this way again, and...

Excellent service, Good breakfast, free wifi but was slow on occasion. Clean, well maintained, and well equipt rooms including communal lounge for guests. Reserved parking for guests. One of the nicest B&B's I have stayed in.

We spent 5 nights here and could not fault the place . Comfortable ,spotless, great breakfasts with excellent service. The whole place was very well maintained and room, although not huge, was well designed to contain everything you need. We loved it and will be back!

Fantastic welcome from Jeff and Sandra. Pot of tea on arrival was much appreciated. First time at Abbeyfield but it felt like visiting friends. Stayed for 5 days, very clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. The previous reviews were spot on, so you can book in confidence. Location, rooms and breakfast were 10/10. The weather completed a wonderful week.

Although it was our first visit, it felt more like visiting friends than staying at a hotel. Jeff and Sandra worked so hard to make the stay relaxing and stress free. From the moment you arrive and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat about the hotel, you are made to feel welcome and valued. Jeff offered a run...

We booked this based on reviews left here and weren't disappointed. The room was well appointed and the bed was comfortable. The owner, Jeff, is very congenial without being excessive. Our only minor niggle was the narrow time window for breakfast (8:30 to 9:00). Overall a great weekend. We will definitely return.
