I stayed with Maureen and Dave for 6 days as I was training for a job in Torquay, and I can honestly say without a doubt they are the most attentive and welcoming people I have every stayed with (that's including some relatives!). Perfect location from the beach and town, about a 10 minute walk with a scenic option! My... More

I stayed here with my wife and 2 older children for a weekend. The hotel was very clean in all areas and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family room and it was immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and the bed linen was clean. Breakfast was very good a prepared freshly. Well done 5... More

We like to highlight the good points as well as the not so good. On arrival we couldn't find anywhere to park ( would be helpful to high light that it around the back) Dave who came around to meet us, was polite and nothing was to much trouble, however we do feel that he is a little awkward with... We stayed here when visiting family nearby. It was one of the few places left with beds, and we needed to be able to have three adults in one room (although in the event only two of us slept there). The hotel is a - well I think Regency, but I'm not expert on these things - building, about a... More

Old style hotel but price reflects what you get. Situated in convenient location within walking distance of town centre, restaurants etc. Comfortable enough for overnight stay. Friendly people run the hotel and are helpful with local information. Good place if looking for budget stay and not too fussed about room quality.

We recently stayed in this hotel and have to say it was one of the worst we have stayed in. We have stayed in many hotels and b&bs in Torquay, many on the same road, and this is by far the worst. Upon arrival there is limited parking, to be fair, no different to many other hotels in this particular... More

Dave and Maureen are amazing. Welcomed me and my boys and couldnt do enough for us and all other guests. We stayed in the family room which was adequate for our needs. Clean. Tidy and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was great. Enjoyed by all. Great location on Belgrave Road. 3 minute walk to the seafront. The proprietors work very... More

Maureen and Dave are incredibly friendly and welcoming and have made our stay very enjoyable. It was really good value for a good standard room and a top notch breakfast! When we first arrived we were 3 hours early for check in but they went out their way to get the room ready for us as soon as possible. There... More
