We booked a last minute bank holiday weekend at Abingdon House as the reviews, location and distance for us were perfect. We were not disappointed! Our hosts were lovely and our room immaculate, we had onsite parking and nothing was too much trouble. We wanted a complete break and we were not hassled in any way. Again-perfect. We'd highly recommend...

Just returned from a 3 day break in Torquay. Hotel Abingdon the perfect retreat, with the nicest hosts you could meet Janet & Andrew. The room was lovely, breakfast was very filling, with lots of options available. The hotel is just a 5-10 minute walk from the front and a further 10 minutes along to the harbour and the local...

Our Stay at Abingdon house was exceptional. The owners Janet and Andrew are the nicest people you could meet. Made us very welcome and nothing was too much for them. Even left us a Easter egg. Very personalised touch. Breakfast was lovely. Room was spotless. Highly recommended. Definitely would stay there again.

This was our first time in Room 3, a clean, nicely decorated room at the side of the house,...

Hotel is nice and clean with a good selection at breakfast time, didn't have evening meals so can't comment but if the breakfast was anything to go by it would have been fine. Both owners were...

I didn't have to worry about food at all which all celiac sufferers will know is a nightmare, I even managed to bring home a couple of extra pounds...
